“Very good restaurant, I was greeted with a welcoming smile from the very friendly, articulate, professional, and helpful waitress. She on her own would be a reason for returning. Not being a fluent Spanish speaker, she was very helpful in explaining the menu and for making recommendations. I had a wonderful meal at a reasonable price. I shall return before my vacation ends. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food, with excellent service. One small observation, it would be good to have wifi available, but maybe that is just me!”

“This restaurant in Oviedo, Asturias, mentioned in the Michelin guide, is well deserved of a Michelin star. Starting with a lovely melon gazpacho, followed by an excellent Caviar with egg, and for the main entree a steak tartare with jalapeño and mustard ice creams. Then, to sweeten the palate, a typical dessert of my hometown, a Casadiella, a fried wheat pastry in Anisette filled with toasted walnuts and covered with white sugar. Finally, a nice brandy, Cardenal Mendoza, to end the evening. Awesome!!!!!”

“Popped here tonight after seeing it get recommended multiple times as ‘the best steak in Marbella’. I can confirm, the recommendations were absolutely 100% correct. Hands down some of the best steaks we’ve ever eaten. Side dishes were up there also. Service was on point from start to finish. Loved the decor and atmosphere of the place. Overall it was extremely sensibly priced and and outstanding experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back!”

“One of the best places I have eaten in my entire life. The whole venue feels like a home setting. Some tables are made to look like you eat in your own kitchen. We had an 8 course meal, including the cod, the risotto, black pudding, the steak and the amazing cheese cake in the end. This restaurant alone is worth coming back to the Basque country for!”

“Out of all the places ive been too, this was the best dining experience ive ever really had. With a huge party of 11 they were the nicest service, put all of our tables together, and were patient with us. Naiara and her partner were amazing. All 12 of us left our plates clean. I was nervous but I got the menu sorpresa for 35€ and was not disappointed in the slightest! I got beautifully cooked zucchini, pesto, salmon, and garnish appetizer which was amazing, a PERFECTLY cooked steak from salamanca cows with parmesan and yummy garnish, the best tarta de queso ive ever had, and two awesome drinks! I walked out of here completely satisfied and in awe with the amazing atmosphere and food. Nobody left here disappointed and i was the only one that spent over 30€, and everyone else got main dishes, drinks, and desserts. Amazing and worth every penny. Let me add, with the surprise menu, if there are foods you dont like they tell you to let them know and cater to you, you also get to choose your drinks!”
