“Great surprise at Campdevànol. It is hard to believe there is such stylish high-end cusine in this area, as it is most common to more traditional Catalan cuusine. You have a -very imaginative named- a la carte menu and then you can go for a gastronomic set menú that includes few starters, main to choose and desserts to chose for 35€. Everything was extremely good and very well presented. There is also a kids menu for 13€. They do accept dogs at the terrace (which I prefer if the weather allows. “Prices were a bit ridiculous. I left with a bad taste in my mouth over their bread as silly as it sounds. Not only did it taste stale, but every time I ordered bread, we were apparently given a "double" order. I didn't know this and ordered bread two more times considering the lack of carbs on the menu and then was charged for 6 orders. The amount of bread we received for "6" orders is criminal. I'm not sure if they were just taking advantage of foreignors or not. We ordered three main dishes. Unhappy with one, but that was a mistake in ordering a dish we were unfamiliar with. Others were quite good, but portions were small given the exuberant pricing, hence our "6" orders of bread.”

We tried: empanadas - so beautiful and crispy I love it Then we tried two types of meat Solomillo and ojo de bife I don’t even know what to say because they both were perfect and tender. “Great dinner for 40 euros per person the quality of the food and the service was excellent so the price. We enjoyed the 🐙 octopus and the croquets, the chuletón was OK but not great, desserts were OK but as example cardinal was too frozen. Wine (Brunus) was spectacular.”

“Disappointing. The service was extremely good. I ordered the Tenderloin, medium rare. When it finally came. It was stone cold. Which is surprising because it was so over cooked.. When I went to talk to a manager he changed for us the plates but the quality of food is not as we expected. Really not a good experience.”

“Special place with open kitchen. Amazing and attentive personal speaking English and Spanish. MUST HAVE HERE IS THEIR BREAD which they fermented 3 days and then somos here on fire. For sure I can recommend also oax tail hired in empanada form. The only thing we ordered a good vintage for meat and the temperature wasn’t right, a bit cold for this type of wine and unfortunately it didn’t open even after 2 hours.”
