“Cycled 15 miles here for a business lunch. The Maitre D was kind enough to valet my bike at the coat check. High ceilings & spacious seating. Lunch time was bustling with locals. I went with the 3 course lunch special for $29. Was looking for some light fare since I needed to cycle more afterwards. Eggplant is not generally a dish that receives rave reviews. It takes a master chef to deliver eggplant with exquisite flavor & texture. This was precisely the case today 🥇🥇 Good portion sizes. Caesar salad was fresh. Rice pudding was phenomenal 👍👍. Great dining experience. Will definitely return again.”

“Ordered calamari and shrimp for appetizers. Honestly wasn’t too impressed, not much flavor to the calamari and shrimp seemed like it was dethawed for hours prior to serving (wet and chewy). The salads were good and the homemade Italian dressing was great. Leaving 4 stars because the entrees were incredible, we got 3 16oz filets and they were cooked beautifully and had a lot of flavor. We also ordered the chicken parmesan and that was very good as well. The pasta sides and bake potatoes were good as well. Like others have said, would be nice if they updated the inside of the restaurant, very old feel. But otherwise a good experience.”

“Can't believe it took me this long to get here, it's been on my list for a while and it definitely did not disappoint. Everything was exquisite, from flavor to delivery. Lovely atmosphere and they have a nice outdoor sitting area. Will definitely be back soon enough. I got the coconut mussels which were so creamy and flavorful. The pork chops were tender and delicious and the veggies were made to perfection. Finished with the flan which was the icing on the cake ;)”

“Well what can be said about one of Long Island’s top tier steakhouses that hasn’t been said before. As you approach the establishment there’s a small parking lot that requires valet parking which is the norm for this caliber of dining. Once inside, we navigated past a crowded Friday night bar, greeted and promptly shown our table. The four of us had a few cocktails & two seafood towers back-to-back to start. After a quick Caesar salad, out came the Colorado Cajun Ribeyes, along with some hashbrowns and creamed spinach which were all excellent. Sadly, I ate so much I didn’t save room for their renowned pecan pie which looked delectable. If there was something to critique it was that they need to replace their rickety old chairs. They were so wobbly I felt like I was on a boat. In closing, B&C is amongst the best I’ve had in quite some time and it offers everything you’d expect from a classic LI Steakhouse: Outstanding food, attentive service and premium prices.”

“We haven't been here in some time. Reservations are not easy to come by unless you book weeks in advance. We shared the (deconstructed) Caesar salad, 2 petite filet mignons with mushroom bordelaise sauce & parmesan french fries. Brought our own bottle of Caymus for a $25 corkage fee. Christa, our server was very attentive despite it being very busy. The restaurant was at capacity as expected for a Saturday night & tables were were quickly reset. Bar was very crowded too. Live music contributed to the overall atmosphere”

“This place offers authentic Spanish food. There is a great variety of tapas and a full menu. We ordered the grilled octopus, fried artichokes and the paella valenciana which came with salad. All three dishes were very tasty. The paella for two was big enough that we took half home. There are different types of sangria. We ordered the red one and it was very good. The service is very attentive. Good place for just tapas and drinks or a full meal.”

“This is an amazing steakhouse! It’s a beautiful space, the bar is hip, the food is excellent and the service is wonderful. We held a work event here and had a terrific time. The steaks and seafood were phenomenal, with every bite being better than the last. The pork belly and seafood platter with shrimp and oysters were a meal in themselves! and the octopus was divine. The mashed potato, creamed spinach and Brussels sprouts with bacon sides were amazing too. And don’t even get me started on the everything biscuits! The desserts were the perfect size after such an extravagant meal. Downstairs they have a private room and bar that is perfect for groups of 25 or so. LOVE LOVE LOVE!”

“July 2023: Enjoyed a delicious dinner before we saw a Broadway show. We were here for restaurant week where we got a prix fixe dinner for $60. Quite a good deal! I started out with a draft beer, Almost Famous, from Torch and Crown. 👍 For my starter, I had the sesame crusted tuna with crackers. This was tasty. For my main, I had the miso salmon on a bed of edamame 🫛 mash. The fish 🐠 was cooked perfectly. Got a nice sear on one side. For my dessert, I had the shortcake with lemon ice cream. This was a great way to end the meal! The restaurant is elegant. Service was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back again for more delicious food!”

“My wife and I had a single night in Manhattan recently. As we were staying on 5th Avenue, we decided to make reservations at The Grill as it was an easy walk. Upon entering, we found the staff welcoming and gracious. We were shown to our table in an expeditious manner. We asked to see the Sommelier as we wished to get our wine (2017 Margaux) breathing. Willie came to the table and was very helpful in getting the process started. He also recommended superb cocktails. John our dining Captain came and introduced himself. John is a pro. Terrific! My wife began with the Champagne cocktail. Delicious. I wanted an old fashioned and was talked into the version with The Grill’s signature bourbon. Oh my, was it good. We started with the Avacado Crab Louis prepared at our table. Off the charts delicious. So fresh and plentiful. We then moved into the next course, Pasta a la Presse, again prepared table side. This was the highlight of the evening’s menu. Everything was amazing but this was sinfully delicious. With our ribeye for two we had the mushrooms and steamed spinach. The steak was very good. Not the best that we have had but superb nonetheless. The bread service was equally amazing. My wife is a skilled baker but had to admit that the dinner rolls were better than hers. We finished with the baked Alaska table side…a must. The service was exceptional. We were ‘touched’ by no fewer than 6 associates. We never felt rushed and we took our time and paced ourselves. We plan to head back to Manhattan next Christmastime, we will definitely eat at The Grill again. Well done!”

Literally, me and my gf just randomly pick this restaurant and randomly select 3 main courses and some sides, since we are too busy to reserve a restaurant for Thanksgiving eve. IT IS SO SO GOOD, the service is perfect, the rythme of the dishes is perfect. Before I eat, I just think the 4.4 stars restaurant won’t be that great, and now I totally will give a five stars. And I recommend the NY steak and the lobster spaghetti!!!”
