“Found this place from looking at nearby restaurants by our hotel on google maps and it did not disappoint. The staff were so lovely and were happy for us to wait to the side and offered us the drinks menu whilst waiting on a table to come free. We went all in on the top three pasta dishes and every dish was delicious. Service was great for a busy Sunday evening. Definitely worth the wait and a visit! For three pasta dishes, two glasses of wine and two Aperol spritz we were €80 - great value for money!”

“One of the restaurants that open a bit earlier for dinner as compared to the rest, so we were able to dine here at 6.30pm with a whole restaurant to ourselves. Ordered a steak and a seafood pasta and both were brilliant, sat at the window with a nice view of the street. All staff were very eager to serve. Enjoyed the experience here.”

“You taste the quality of the meat. The location is really nice, in the center of Pietrasanta, and the restaurant is also really cozy. We had a starter and tagliata and was simply perfect. The starter had cheese, ham, bruschetta and more and all the taste were balanced. The meat was also great. The staff super friendly, was really hot night and from inside we asked to love outside as soon as we saw an empty table and they had no issue with it. Recommended 100%”

“The food in Le Volte was amazing. We ordered the famous Florentine steak and it did not disappoint. But as the reviews said, the steak was more on the lean side of meat, so it's better to have it cooked rare or medium rare. They also give you a hot plate in case you prefer to cook the steak a bit more after it is served. The staff were also very friendly. We ordered only a glass of wine but one of the staff kindly gave us the bit of the remaining wine in the bottle. Everything was good. My advise is to really have a reservation because the restaurant gets full, even on weekdays.”

Even though we arrived pretty late, like less than an hour before closure, we were gladly welcomed and seated. The staff (who's probably a family that owns the place ) is helpful, professional and friendly. As for the food, we had grilled fillet and it was perfect. We enjoyed our meal and our time in the Osteria.”

“We stopped here for a quick break during a long road trip. There are plenty of menus for 2 people, but you can also take it for odd number of people. The quality of the starters is outstanding, mixed fries and a mix of salami and cheese, so tasty. afterward, we choose the Steak, what a deliciousness. we were 2 and came out absolutely full and satisfied sharing this Steak Menu. we spent about 84 euros for the menu, water, 2 glasses of wine, coffees, sorbetto and service.”

“A MUST when in Florence! The best meal of my life and the service was even better. Besi made us feel like we were at home. Will always visit when in Florence. The steak was cooked to perfection and the white truffle pasta…..amazing. Best bruschetta I’ve ever had and the appetizer with garden soil…. No clue what was in there but it was FABULOUS! I went with a group of 5 and everything we had was a 10/10. So happy we found this place !!!!”

“This place was the best restaurant I ate at in Italy. I did not have a reservation and they had no open ones, but when they realized I was alone, they setup a small little table for me. The manager or owner was so tentative during my meal bringing me a must try free dessert of chocolate cake at the end. They made an exception to give me the veal meatballs half portion for an appetizer and I had the special Buca Lapi pasta for dinner. THE BEST! I also left my credit card on the table and went back the next evening, they remembered me and said they tried to catch up with me outside when I left, but couldn't find me. Honest employees and so grateful I was able to get it back.”

“Let me tell you. This place is all heart, quality, love and most of all food. From the moment you enter this wonderful place you are transported to an Italians kitchen, complete with mother son etc. they guide you through the menu, they are honest and caring. The wine is perfect the Decor is simple in a good way, there is multiple levels and the food is finger licking good. Try everything leave a tip and know you contributed to a place that is truly rare! 8 stars I’ll be back monday”

At times I found the service to be a little weird (for example the fact that to have the tasting menu the whole table must have it) and with rooms for improvement but nothing major over all. Looking back, I would not recommend to take the testing menu and focus on individual dishes.”
