“Food is extraordinary! For appetizers we tried frog legs for the first time and we fully loved the experience! I had beef filet with truffle and foie gras ( third in their menu) and it tasted like nothing else i had before. It was Amazing! I wish the menu was on paper with some explanation but i think part of the experience is Chef explaining all the foods for you ! He was patient with me and explained twice .I also got glass of côté du Rhône which was a great wine! If you are in the area, i really recommend this place!”

“Fantastic restaurant, that serves meals made with fresh ingredients of the day. From my understanding, the menu changes based on what good foods the chef finds on the day. You can tell this restaurant is a labor of love. The food is delicious, elegant, and filling if you get a two or three course meal. We were served vegetable soup by default, then had a choice of appetizer, main, and dessert. Though the choices may change day to day, I’m sure whatever the chef makes is always delicious, based on my experience! The server was a lovely woman, with a relaxed demeanor. I enjoyed interacting with her, and telling her how much I enjoyed the food. We were eating outside, and sometimes a local cat or family would walk by, giving the meal a real slice-of-life pace. The main I had was delicious, a cut of steak cooked to rare, just as I requested. Price is really good too for the elegant experience we got, as the whole menu of the day (including cheese and dessert) is only 45 euros. Highly recommend!”

“Let's put it like this, if you are vegan maybe you should pass this one, but if you are a meat LOVER and want a unique "bon vivant" experience than this is must to visit!!! Food is cooked on an open fire charcoal grill. We ordered the bone marrow as starter and a 1kg Côte de boeuf with an amazing gratan and delicious homemade sauces (parmesan +truffle my favorite) Great wine recommendation also. Service was impeccable, owner always welcoming the guests and making sure that food is the best. Definitely we will be back!”

“Food and service were great. We had prawn for starter and it was okay but a bit expensive for it’s quantity. Also, i had octopus for main which was fine but had to add some salt for my liking and my boyfriend had some truffle pasta which was also good. We asked for pina colada however one waiter said they dont have it but the we heard the other table ordered one.”

“Mixed feelings about Gaio...location, performance and food were good, but the service was the worst I ever had... Would I recommend to go there? NO Going from good to bad things: - Location: it is amazing, dining here is an experience! There are constant shows with dancers also interacting with the public, very very nice! - Food: the food is ok, portions are very small for the price that you pay (look at the beef and potatoes in the picture, 52€). - Service: a. Starting from the ordering, the guy who took the order pretended to receive the whole and complete order for our entire group (11 people) by one person, he didn't even want to go one by one asking what they wanted...man it is your job to take the order, not mine. b. The food came asynchronously, with one side of the table finishing the first dish (and already receiving the second one) while one other half of the table did not receive anything. Moreover the food that was supposed to be hot, it was served already cold... c. They basically kicked us away from the dinner table while some people were still ending their drinks, just because they needed to free up the table and prepare it for the club d. The guy who served us complained A LOT about the tip, becoming very angry and treating us poorly. I am there to enjoy myself and in the (overpriced) prices there is already the share to cover the service, we can and do not give you extra if you treat us poorly as described above. e. During the clubbing a service guy literally pushed me angrily, saying to stay away from a table, but I literally was doing nothing...”
