A must-to-visit restaurant, with i think even music and dance evening events cause we notice a really nice music equipement. Sure, by a monday of january Is quiet but i Hope visit again in the spring-summer seasons. Price in line with portions, if you're very hungry this Is the place😅🤣”

“This place is very unusual to see in the Netherlands. It has a lot of character in the menu and atmosphere. The food is freshly grilled and is very delicious. We ordered a meal for 2 people and it was even too much food for 2, so we took some home. I would even recommend ordering for 3 the same portion. I would come back to try more Balkan food because it’s hard to find such cuisine anywhere else in The Hague.”

“Great Argentinian steakhouse with a very cosy decor and friendly staff. Food was served quite fast and portions are quite large (250 gram steak and upgrades possible). The starters were also fair in size and tasted wonderful. You must have a reservation, the place is fully booked every night. The place, with it's small entrance, is not wheelchair friendly. Something to keep in mind. You can park behind the restaurant in a residential parking lot (free parking). Usually has some places left. Including some rounds of drinks and a coffee, we spent about 50EUR per person.”

“Absolutely fantastic experience here at De Gieser Wildernan. My first Michelin star visit. We had the Parma Ham and Melon for starter and then the Beef Steak with Pepper Sauce. Both dishes cooked and presented to absolute perfection and accompanied by the finest detailed and precision chopped vegetables. Desert was the Apricot tart which again was tremendously tasty. I can not recommend this restaurant enough. The staff were awesome. What a great first endeavor and I will be back!”

“The place inside and the decoration is really good and nice atmosphere. Waiters are polite. Menu is good. The food was nothing super fancy but it was ok. However there were a few things that we didn’t like. The side dish salad had tomatoes that were not properly cleaned and cut on the edge. Moreover the steaks even though we ordered them medium done, they were not evenly cooked. Finally when they brought us the glasses for beer, they were just cleaned with many water drops inside which is not really professional. All in all, it’s ok to dine there. Nothing really fancy but the food was ok and the prices were not bad.”

We were flabbergasted by the oysters topped with a champagne mousse. Our waiter Jan-Willem was divine! Extremely suitable location for a date night, anniversary or if you just want to treat yourself to something special. Will 100% come here again!”

“Expectation was much higher then real experience... When you see this amazing location of the restaurant with the huge terras near water and the restaurant itself from inside you await a wonderful evening but your euphoria disappears as soon as you visit their toilet! Extremely dirty, stinky and disgusting toilets! It was very embarrassing and unpleasant to use that place... One of the nice things - there is an outdoor parking from the "back" side of the restaurant but it is not very big so you should be lucky to find a spot at rush hours. Waiting time before you receive your food is veeery long. By the way, there are contradictory feelings regarding food as steak was quite good, mushrooms were fantastic but for example lamb was super dry and hard and fries (both french and argentine) was terrible: overcooked, crusty and inedible like if you chew plastic. Staff is quite friendly but also bit rude as by unknown reason they ignore one person from our company of 7 people. To be honest I would not visit this restaurant once again.”

“Very nice location, however not so easy to reach by car as everything in the area is licensed. A big parking garage is not so far but keep in mind with elderly people in the group. Food was ok, nothing special. The beef was liked, however the fish (sole) was greasy (used too much oil) and the fries were super oily, a comment about this was not picked up which is a pity. Desserts were fine. Drinks are ok. Service is functional and task oriented. Recommended if you are looking for a steak/beef but nothing specific to call out. Better options available in town at this price point.”
