“Living in Amersfoort for so many years, how come I didn't notice this wonderful meat lover's restaurant. Tonight me and my wife dined in this Mediterranean restaurant, the dining experience was amazing! The interior decorations of the restaurant is very Mediterranean style and unique! You can see the owner spent time and energy into it! We ordered a grill meat platter, it serves over 5 different kinds of meat, and tomato flavored rice or french fries as principal dishes, the meats are beef entrecôte, schnitzel, lamb skewers, chicken breast, beef skewers, bacon etc. You can taste the difference of every kind of meat, they were cooked in different timing, but each one is extraordinary and delicious! Pairing with their house red wine is a great choice! They serve fresh vegetables and salades all the time, so that the meat won't be too heavy. Mix some of their apple vinegar and olive oil with your salade as you want! The two gentlemen served us so nicely and warmly once the moment we walked in, we totally enjoyed our time! It's very nice to come together with your friends or family! We happily recommend any meat lover to experience this restaurant!”

“Very nice restaurant located in a historical villa close to the nature area. Ideal place for lunch, dinner or just coffee after walking around. We came for dinner with our two kids and we had our table ready with two child seats. The staff was very helpful. We ordered our food and it was very delicious. I had the rib eye steak (medium) and it was very well prepared. The place is very cozy, with a nice atmosphere and a nice view. We will definitely come back again.”

“We are good, it was an authentic Italian restaurant with a proper carbonara and all the chefs, waitress and waiters were Italian! Maybe we missed a bit of salt in the dish but the pasta was good. We recommend the carbonara tuna and the bolognesa with amazing meat! The raviolis were really good as well if you love spinach! Their service was good. The only problem we had was that we booked the table for six on Monday and the same day of the reservation we received a cancellation without giving explanation, I called them 2h before our booked table and they took us any way! We were lucky! If you are from Spain, France, Italy or Greece, ask for bread. It was so so delicious!!! I miss this bread…”

After many complaints the chef came to our table to say that they do not aim to be 10 but are happy with an 8...the whole experience was more like a 4...I guess they still have a long time to go to meet their own objective. Why Michelin has this restaurant on their site is beyond me.”

“If I could give more stars I would! The food was absolutely exquisite and bursting with flavours. We had the escargot and garlic prawns for starters which were both to die for (sorry ducks we didn't even leave a bread crumb for you) and the signature steak and liver for mains which was the best food we had on our trip through central Europe. We were lucky to have a seat right at the canal, the waiter was lovely, the wine and all other drinks delicious, all in all the whole experience couldn't have been more perfect. Such a shame that it was our last night in Utrecht, we would love to come back.”

“Great christmas dinner evening.We enjoyed the food in a lively atmosphere in Joia Brasserie. Surprising dishes as the crunchycauliflower with sweetbread, just one of them. Delicious the deer sirloin por ING with a Montelpuciano’s red wine. To end with one tasting and explosive dark chocolade ball bathed in hot chocolade poyetes on it by the dessert’smaître.”

Also option for 2 types of menu, our op: carpaccio(haven’t tried before), ribeye with potatoes, ice cream Not so good, but not bad: At 21:30 they started to close the restaurant, get chairs and tables indoors, said we could stay to enjoy ice cream, but meh..”
