I particularly loved my artichoke dip with pita chips, the New England style clam chowder, and a 12 oz tenderloin perfectly prepared, with red potatoes and green beans! The appetizer was large enough to share between four people. Our server, Joann, was very attentive and we had a window table with a beautiful view of the Lake Michigan shore. ❤️”

“This building has some history, hence the name it’s an old farm house that now serves good food and drink. It is kind of a hidden place to those that do not know the area as it is tucked back in the lot amongst other businesses. The bar is small so be prepared to stand while you wait for a table. (Worth the wait) Kid friendly and they give a basket of toys for the kids to play with. Decent amount of parking.”

“We arrived about 4:45 for a 5:15 reservation, asked if we wanted to be seated right away, we said we wanted to have a drink at the bar while we waited for the rest of our guests. We definitely felt on a time crunch, at 5:15 we were taken to our table. We waited 10-15 min for our waitress to come ask to refresh drinks. Food arrived pretty quickly and everything was prepared well. As the kids (4 year olds) were finishing their meals we were asked if we could “please move to a table in the bar” so our table could be used. We replied “we haven’t even gotten our bill”. We were quickly given our bill and asked to move. We had the kids finish quickly and went to pay. Kids were offered candy and were given dirty looks when they took 2 treats. Meals were good, but the way we were treated was off putting.”

“Went for the Saturday buffet, food was hot and refilled often. I really enjoyed the prime rib and crab legs. The baby red potatoes were cooked perfectly and so was the salmon in dill sauce. Our party of six would definitely return another night. Also had three Brandy Old Fashioneds at the bar, which were quite good. Bartenders and wait staff were friendly too.”

Jackie was our waitress, and she did a great job making sure our table was taken care of. “We were in the area and googled restaurants to visit for our wedding anniversary. This place had the best looking menu, and I'm glad it did!! The food was fantastic--the bruschetta appetizer was amazing and our steak entrees (steak medallions and seared steak with gnocchi) were melt-in-your-mouth good. The steak was recommended at medium rare, which is a little more rare than I usual like, but I'm glad I took the suggestion. Our server, Jenny/Jeni (I don't remember the correct spelling!) was wonderful and personable. She gave excellent recommendations & accommodated us moving inside after some wasps kept bugging us. She even replaced our appetizer after the wasp was all over it. We also got a slice of cheesecake to go, which was delicious for breakfast the next morning. Super happy with our decision to go here, we'd love to come back!!”

“Anthony's Steakhouse on route 50 in Lake Geneva, is a definite old-school vibe steakhouse. The owner s have done a great job on retaining the old-school vibe reminiscent of the great steakhouses from the 50s and 60s. I almost thought I was going to be able to see Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin sitting at one of the Corinthian leather booths. All that matters is the food is excellent! We had the queen prime rib, salads, baked potato, and the cream of chicken soup. We also appreciate that they have a giant bar that probably could seat 35 or forty people. The drinks we ordered which included gin and tonic, Tito's and soda and some wine we're great.”

“This restaurant i give 5 stars for two reasons. I worked here over the summer and it saw the quality of the food. Second the chefs that are in the kitchen are top notch. I would put those chefs up against any chefs in New York, San Francisco, Houston and Miami. The lady who runs the place is not the friendliest as far as how she treats her staff (talk down to them a lot)...which is why I don't work there anymore. However the chefs do a GREAT JOB there. If I had to rate her it would be 1/2 a star. But great food”
