Really great value for what you get We went there for my wife’s birthday dinner and had a blast All dishes were stellar but some good standouts: the Uniku (if you’re a fan of uni and beef tartar), the thick cut tongue, the misuji shabu style and the marinated short ribs. The rice was also amazing and my kids inhaled the ochazuke Service was also really great. Very friendly. Varying levels of English competence tho they had an Indonesian waitress whose English was great”

“Staff is very attentive. Service is friendly. 70 year old place so decor is unique and nostalgic. Craft beer was decent, and the food was excellent. Cooking is perfect by your own chef. Downstairs after for relaxing is nice. It has a little musty smell. The coffee was nescafe which is poor.”

“First time having horse yakiniku and it was delicious! The restaurant staff are warm and friendly, and very willing to help you take a photo! Their iced oolong tea are huge! The restaurant is underneath the subway track, so it can get a bit noisy at times but that adds to its character.”

“Avoid this place if you are expecting a fair price. We paid almost 10,000 yen for a very basic meal (pictured) with terrible service. 1 beer 1 side 1 large soup Clearly there are many other places nearby that you can enjoy a better meal. Total rip-off. Once we received the bill we were told the menu was not the actual price but per person. This is not made clear on the English speaking menu or by the servers.”

“I haven't visited this chain restaurants for many years. This one in Osaka is my 1st visit. Thanks to my friend for inviting me to such a wonderful restaurant. The service is so very good and their beef and food is as good as usual . They have many private rooms so you can eat comfortably with your friends . The hot pot dinner is so good that we forgot to take photos. Wish I can go there again in my next visit.”

“I eat here often. I usually go without making a reservation, but today I made a reservation just in case and went during lunch time. The hamburger steak topped with raw ham salad and plenty of vegetables was really delicious and filling. I think it will be crowded during the year-end and New Year holidays, so please make a reservation before visiting. We have a full menu, including children's lunches and fried shrimp courses. I think they will also host wedding parties and after-parties. We also have a parking lot, so please take advantage of it.”
