“Simply magnificent. The dishes were done with great execution. This restaurant has such an introvert exterior, but as you walk in, it’s a bustling upscale scene where everyone seems to be having a good time. I was escorted to a table tucked in the private area in the corner of the restaurant. The waiter who served us was extra chatty and he really upsold us everything! As the food came, everything was done in perfect manner. My personal favorites has to be the duck and the “VIP” wagyu steak. That crispiness of the duck skin is truly salivating. What’s funny is that as we were finishing dinner, my friend told me that Tyson Fury (the famous British boxer) were at the restaurant one week before us. If Tyson Fury eats here, you know this place is gonna be good. I, Prince L, will definitely come back again 10/10.”

“Went on the 13th of September and was so so pleasantly surprised by the food and service here. We actually planned to dine at the popular establishment beside this place but they were full so we came to Tazio instead and it was one of the best decisions this trip! Staff were attentive and friendly and the food was fantastic. You need to get the arancini because that blew my mind.”

“Seriously one of the BEST dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Tonight I caught up with a good friend who just moved into the area and as we were looking for a place to eat we stumbled across Ishiya. We figured it looked inviting so we went in and grabbed a table. The couple next to us (celebrating their 19 year anniversary) immediately turned to us and said ‘The food here is amazing. We’re total foodies and we’ve been here twice before’ They were so right. Great quality food, great atmosphere, great table theatrics and great service. I already want to come back! Thank you! ❤️”

“The service was totally bad. Especially nobody was seeing us out. It never happened to us in AU during these several travel days. The dinning area was also very noisy (close to the kitchen). The cooking skills were normal. Only the meat quality could match the price very well. Hope to be better.”

“Walk in table for 3 at 530 pm - no issues. We were seated quickly by friendly efficient wait staff. Cocktails and wine list was good and the bar tender did a nice job. Dinner was delicious. The duck was peep prepared and very tender. We will be back.”

“The dining experience at was delightful, impeccable service. We ordered a few dishes - Squid ink pasta, specials of the day Charred Sourdough, Ravioli,Duck Breast, and dessert. Kudos to the chef for not only creating delectable dishes but also providing exceptional service. When we requested a remake for the rare duck breast(The Asian in me can’t handle red meat that’s not well done), the chef swiftly delivered a perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy dish. The attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set this dining experience apart. Highly recommended for those seeking both great food and excellent service.”

“My friend and I both ordered the Hasu set. We both enjoyed every dish except for the quill. Even with the source, we both felt that the quill tested dry or leathery. We laughed about it, but the next dish was much more enjoyable. Getting a birthday candle as a surprise was a pleasant surprise for me. Please keep it as it is as I felt it had a very personal touch to it. Thank you for that. I look forward to returning in the near future.”

“I stumbled across this place with my kids in tow a few days ago. We had walked all the way from little burke street past many food places just trying to find “normal food” not some wanky stacked pretentious ego food. OMG we were so happy. Bacon and eggs on toast, and the smallest one had a ham cheese toasty. At first the owner, who I found out 3 visits later was called “Sal”, got the milkshake order wrong (chocolate instead of vanilla). I told my kids not to worry chocolate was good too and they would have drank it, but Sal must have seen the disappointment in their faces and was insistent that he make the correct ones. He left the chocolate one free of charge which I drank The meal was superb and reasonably costed. Then I noticed the waitress departing. I asked him if he was closing up and he was (They close over lunch since covid). But he insisted we stay and enjoy, without rushing as they had to clean up anyway. Excellent customer service. We returned that night for dinner (bringing the wife this time) and the kids had burgers and chips that were also excellent, and my wife had the carbonara with added chicken. I had the scotch steak. All perfect. The following day, the kids insisted they wanted to go back to the nice man’s restraunt with the good food. So we are 3 meals in a row there. Its quite a long walk for the two young kids (and this aging body) but everyone is willing to make the track.”

“Great Italian restaurant with welcoming and friendly staff. We visited on a Sunday so the venue was heaving, but the food and drinks orders came out in a very reasonable time. Delicious Gin Martini enjoyed with a lovely selection of Italian food. We chose three dishes and shared them all to get a taste of everything. The Vanilla Meringue cake dessert was the stand-out for me. Very impressive to look at and tasted delightful. A candle was a lovely gesture to celebrate our anniversary.”

“The buffet is a treat yourself moment. A variety of dishes from seafood , eastern dishes and western fare. As vegetarians we did not starve and happy with choices esp the veg dumplings. Everything fresh and at times you can taste the love though desserts tended to be just sweet and blended into one. Sadly only water is included in the meal and everything else attracts a cost, you'd think tea and coffee could be included. Over all I think meat eaters esp sea food lovers will get the better deal for us the price could grab us a few meals else where and a drink or two. Service excellent and the venue clean and fairly lovely in the hotels foyer.”
