“Stumbled upon this place on our way through the down for lunch by luck, after reading some reviews decided to try it ourselves and once we got there for lunch time the place was happening. We tried the squid as a started and ordered a ribeye and fillet steaks. They squid was tasty and both steaks were cooked to perfection. After talking to staff found out everything comes from their farm in the back and also they also have daily specials depending on what surplus they have. They also have a market next door with great selection of meat and other items you can purchase right there. Wish this place was next door from my home 😅”

“Corkage £25wine ,£45 for champagne. Able to do a delicious vegan meal on request. Starter and mains I stuck to fish,smoked trout and plaice(£27). Fabulous attentive service in the private shared dinning room. Only downside side for me was allowing the other party to have a dog in this dinning room.Pah.”

“As it was my daughter's birthday we booked a table as she had eaten there before and enjoyed it. Being vegetarian she was rather disappointed as the only vegetarian main course was not available, so therefore had to settle for tapas. The food itself was quite good but what followed was not. Upon returning home she saw she had a missed call from Canmore, so called them back. "We don't seem to have a record of you paying" - virtually an accusation of us not having done so! I paid on my debit card, I checked this morning and sure enough the payment is there. I have to say this has left a rather sour taste and I don't think that we would go back.”
