The food was fresh, expertly seasoned, and overall delicious. While it's on the pricier side, you get what you pay for and more. I'd say this is the best seafood I've had in Brisbane so far!”

“Excellent meal here for dinner. Top notch cooking of dishes that you won’t run across anywhere. Loved that all the wine was possible by the glass and at reasonable prices. Plenty of selection both of wine and food (though veggie you might want to double check). The scallops you can easily eat double of. The gnocchi was a new one for me. Not the potato pasta type but from pastry. So much cheese and flavour!! Not normally a desert person but had to give the choc mousse with poached pear a go. No regrets. Portions were just about right. If I was nit picking I would say the scallop was on the small side. But main and desert was good. Did not leave bloated despite the three courses. Three courses and three wines $94 for one. Was worth it.”

“Nice family restaurant. No pretentions of French Cuisine or so. Just simple food or as we call it in Holland "plateservice". (Meat and side dishes all on one plate). I had the chicken Parmigiani and it was nice. The place is childfriendly with a TV-screen with sight on the playground. Staff is nice and friendly.”

“Well Lord Stanley, what a surprise. I walked into this place lunch time Saturday for the first time. Unlike almost every other pub in and around Brisbane that I have visited and that's plenty! I was blown away by the service. As I walked through the venue to the main bar, I was greeted by every single staff member, including the Chef in the kitchen. Don't let the outside fool you. The Lord Stanley is absolutely beautiful inside. There is plenty of room and a great outdoor area to the rear of the building. Good selection of tap beer, daily specials, and chef specials. Also, there is a wide variety of good options on the menu, which are well priced. To my surprise, this place wasn't very busy, so get down to the Lord Stanley and get behind your local. Thanks to all of the staff for the warm welcome, great service, and the couple of cold beers👏 Menu and specials as at 22nd April 2023.”
