Cooperstown Dreams Park
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 07:00 AM

4648 NY-28, Cooperstown, NY 13326, United States

“Lots of things to say here and my perspective is from a coach staying in the barracks. The fields are groomed well, there are still lips between infield and out field and there is some strange leveling around first base and second causing slides to come up short at second. There will be rain so be prepared for rain delayed games. It was great to play teams from all over. As you would expect food will be marginal but use the seasoning station, hot sauce makes things better. There are coaches shower and restroom areas that I would recommend finding the first day and using. The kids area will be gross either way try to go off hours to get some warm water. Few suggestions for cdp - make batting cage roof higher. It is low and close to metal poles on the side so can be dangerous. - would be great to have infield only for fielding so players can get used to the dirt. - snack bars were out of things like hamburger buns, we had complaints from our fans.”

164 Old Montauk Hwy, Montauk, NY 11954, United States

“Great place for families and especially young kids to make the most out of summer. It can be very loud at night but the park rangers do their best to keep rowdy crowds at bay. In addition to a wonderful location on the beach there are daily crafts and softball games. If you bring kids, bikes are a must”

Billy Johnson Playground
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 06:00 AM

E 67th St, New York, NY 10022, United States

“What a beautiful park made with wood structures and stone steps so it is a natural and serene setting for parents and care givers with multiple play areas for kids. The park was unusually quiet the day we visited plus it is small so that made it easy for the kids to run around and us able to keep up with them. The park has a lot of shaded areas and landing areas are soft and covered in sand so not too rough on little ones knees. My kids (ages 5 & 9) gave it 5 stars!”

Closed until 10:00 AM

14b 53rd St 3rd floor, Brooklyn, NY 11232, United States

“We recently had our birthday at the Sunset Park location and loved it. Sergio and Ali were very accommodating and helpful. They provided all the amenities including a small speaker which was very thoughtful. One criticism is the field and bathrooms could have been cleanier. Other than that, I would highly recommend this location for birthdays.”

“Kanga's indoor play place exceeded all our expectations for my daughter's party, and our host Dennis truly made it a 5-star experience! From the moment we arrived, Dennis's energy and attention to detail were evident. He made sure every child felt welcome and engaged, and his ability to keep the party running smoothly while ensuring everyone was having a great time was truly commendable. The entire setup at Kanga's was perfect for a kids' party - vibrant, safe, and filled with exciting activities. The kids had an absolute blast, and as a parent, seeing them so happy was priceless. Moreover, Dennis's personalized approach and genuine enthusiasm made the day even more special. He seemed to anticipate our needs before we even realized them ourselves, and his friendly, approachable nature put both kids and adults at ease. Kanga's indoor play place provided a fantastic backdrop for the celebration, and Dennis's exceptional service really stood out. From coordinating activities to handling any last-minute requests with a smile, his dedication to ensuring everything ran seamlessly was evident throughout the event. It's clear that Kanga's has a gem in Dennis, and I can't thank him enough for making my daughter's special day so memorable. We'll definitely be returning to Kanga's for future events, thanks to the wonderful experience Dennis and the entire team provided. Five stars doesn't seem like enough to express our gratitude for such a fantastic day!”

The Rinx

660 Terry Rd, Hauppauge, NY 11788, United States

“Signed my son up for skating lessons which were described to be for “very beginner” skaters. Unfortunately, we signed up a few classes in to the 7 week session. The other kids in the class were all skating independently. My son was terrified, as it was his first time on the ice. And because we missed the beginning few classes he missed all that instruction on how to stand up properly on the ice, etc. The instructor just seemed annoyed with him the whole time as he was scared to leave the wall and did not know how to skate at all. She brought him off the ice within 5 mins. I was very understanding as it was his first time ever on the ice and the 4th class into the 7 week session. This made me realize it is not “very beinnger” friendly if you start late. I asked for the remaining sessions to be credited toward the next 7 weeks so we can start fresh and get those important beginning classes. I was told they do not do credits or refunds (which I wasn’t looking for). They said they will put a helper in the next weeks class. However, this helper was for the whole class not just for my son (I asked). My son, who was so incredibly far behind all the other skaters in the group was terrified to go back the next week. Knowing he wouldn’t get a proper introduction to the ice as it was the middle of the entire 7 week session we decided it was best to skip and just cut our losses. It’s unfortunate it’s not suggested to wait and not join mid session as the first few classes are important for the “very beginner” skater. We will not be returning.”

Windy Hill Orchard
4.6
( 16 reviews )

1297 Brookview Station Rd, Castleton, NY 12033, United States

“Windy Hill Orchard is an absolute treasure, and not even the rain could dampen our spirits during our apple-picking adventure with family. The atmosphere was lively with music playing, and the apple selection was fantastic. What's more, the charming setup where you pay for the apples also offers delightful treats like hot, fresh cider donuts, fudge, and so much more. To top it off, there are food trucks for a satisfying meal. It truly is a fantastic place for family fun, and we can't wait to return!”

Jefferson Market Garden

10 Greenwich Ave, New York, NY 10011, United States

“Flowers are in bloom right now. Beautiful little corner worth stopping and relaxing for awhile. There are a few benches to sit at and it’s surrounded by places to eat and shop in Greenwich Village”

Lawrence Farms Orchards

( 8 reviews )

306 Frozen Ridge Rd, Newburgh, NY 12550, United States

“The fields are absolutely beautiful. We had a great time picking apples (our favorites are the Granny Smiths 🍏) I wish the staff was more educated on service dogs as we were given a bit of a hard time on our way out, this made no sense to me because we were leaving. However, putting that aside, the experience is really nice. The farm is giant and sprawling. There are plenty of hidden nooks and crannies to explore while picking different kinds of fruits and veggies. Bring water because there isn't alot of shade and on the sunny days it gets hot fast!!”

Skydive The Falls

1698 Braley Rd, Youngstown, NY 14174, United States

“Although I had some issues with customer service trying to book this experience they did make up for it as soon as we walked in the door. I had instructor Jason and my friend had Sarah. Both were great. Jason was VERY thorough with instructions and communicated very well on what was expected out of me. loved that. Sarah was super friendly and make us feel more relaxed. We had a great overall experience and would go again. thank you!”

Lewey Lake Campsite
4.6
( 8 reviews )

NY-30, Sabael, NY 12864, United States

“Indian lake is absolutely stunning. Brought kayaks and found many islands to hop to. Campground was good, but our site was ok. Right in the sun most of the day. Great place not too far away. Also, I know I'm out in nature, but no cell service.”

Jones Beach Boardwalk
4.7
( 8 reviews )

Jones Boardwalk, Wantagh, NY 11793, United States

“Brings back fond childhood memories! The restaurant was great, the only negative was they ran out of ahi tuna for the poke bowl and substituted it with shrimp. It was fresh and tasty but I would have preferred tuna. We walked the boardwalk but it was after labor day so not much happening..no crowds.”

Sned-acres Family Campground

6590 S Cayuga Lake Rd, Ovid, NY 14521, United States

“Great little campground that is growing. Salt water pool, tent sites, cabins and full electric/water sites. Love the regulars and enjoy meeting new people here. Owner operated, so there is always a loving and warm welcoming at this camp ground.”

World Ice Arena
4
( 16 reviews )

131-04 Meridian Rd, Queens, NY 11368, United States

“Make sure to buy tickets online before entering. They cost $10 on the weekends and $7 on weekdays. Skate rentals are $6 (you pay in person cash or credit card). When we first got there we thought the building was closed since there were locks in the front door. But if you walk to the side door there’s an area to enter. After you enter, you’ll most likely wait on a line to show the online payment you made and they’ll give you a wrist band. There’s also one time use lockers for $75 cents (so once you open it, you need to pay an additional $75 cents) There’s a bathroom on the left side and right side you can get your skate rentals. There used to be a food court but due to the pandemic it’s not opened. Most likely on The Weekends you’ll see a lot of children since they take ice skating lessons. We saw a lot of people on Saturday. For the price $10 it was pretty cheap (since it’s not hourly based). The ice gets rough pretty fast since there were a lot of people. After every 2 hours they started to clean the ice and make it smooth.”
