It’s a little bit pricey in compare to other Asian store in Ghent,but the staff made it worth it because they treated the customers nicely.”

“Love this place! I spent over an hour in here on my last visit and that was purely standing in the beer aisle. Like a kid in a sweet shop, I was spoilt for choice. UK supermarkets could learn a lesson on stocking good quality beer as well as some decent cheeses and meats, not the usual bland nonsense we have. Take note, it closes on a Sunday so if you need beer then, you'll have to use smaller shop in the centre of Brugge.”

“I want to say that the Albert heijn in Maldegem is beyond stellar, and is a phenomenal place to shop at. They provide consistent products, add new products seasonally and the quality of their name brand products are exceptional. I would have given this location a five stars, but today I realize that they are no longer open Sunday afternoons. This is very important for this fast paced economy that we live in. Today was a nice summer day at 23°C, the smell of BBQ was in the air and you can hear families enjoying some good fun together. But sadly when I arrive today at 14:00, hoping to pick up some beer and meat to do the same with my family. I was shocked in disbelief that they were closed and changed their opening hours. I have to say it’s a fine place to shop and I do recommend it to everyone, but to be closed on a Sunday afternoon like everything else in this ghost town is just ridiculous. Now I either have to drive to the AH in Oostcamp, or to the carrefour run Brugge. A good business plan is to be open when everything else is closed, this way community will have a sense of comfort that someone is still there when every other business is only thinking of themselves. Besides not being able to BBQ, let’s think about others. Like the mothers that just ran out of baby formula, or teens who need hygienic products at the last minute before school on Monday, or those that forgot some ingredients for that evening. How about those who are extremely tired from working random shift hours all week, barely having time to make it to the grocery store. Now comprehend they just got off of work at 22:00pm, they now have to wake up early Saturday on their only day off just to do groceries, because they may have to go into work 3:00am Monday morning. Because every other business in town also decided to take Sundays off. Sad really.”
