“Great convenient location right off the freeway east bound, or a simple Uturn westbound. Grocery esp produce is always fully stocked. The hot foods/sushi/sides at this location is prime. Inexpensive grab and go items. This Times has self check out which is so convenient. Attendants for the self check out so friendly and helpful. Staff always friendly and kind.”

“Love the layout of the store and the cleanliness. Customer service wise had a terrible experience. The deli worker wasn’t very friendly almost as I was bothering her when asked to place an order. When checking out the cashier lane was open, he proceeds to scan my stuff but with without greeting me and upset because another customer came behind me in his line. She was a very sweet lady and apologized for him to say “ well my line was supposed to be closed “ in a rude way to her. I usually don’t post reviews but it’s sad the way I was treated today as an avid customer of Safeway.”

“5/5! Absolutely love Foodland! This review is mainly for their Poke, but I'm sure their other offerings are good as well! The Hawaiian grocery store has tons of selections to choose from, from fresh seafood, hot food and snacks. I'd highly recommend stopping by if you see one and browsing the store. It's different from what you'll see in the states. I went here because it was recommended that the Poke was fresh and delicious here, and I was not disappointed. I went with the Spicy Salmon, Spicy Tuna and Shoyu Poke. Each Poke dish I had was delicious! From the freshness of the fish and the ingredients, it was definitely what I was expecting. And most of all, the flavor profiles were on point! All of the food was reasonably priced as well. Overall, 5/5! Highly recommend. Maybe order a side of rice to pair with your Poke as well. It'll be worth it.”

“Update: They have added a Self Check Out area with 4 registers. Convienent, fast great add-on. Favorite location near home, one of their older store it's easy to find in the Kaimuki Shopping Center lower level. No matter what time of day there's always a steady amount of shoppers till closing. My favorite time to shop is after 830pm. You will find a take-out food department and seafood department with your normal produce & meats. A decent liquor area near the cash registers. Majority of the time the Store Manager always visible in the front area. Friendly and helpful staff. The store is s pretty good with their inventory. Highly recommend shopping here!”

“I'd say two positive things about Foodland is that the workers are really nice and helpful and Foodland also has most necessities you might need, especially for college students. One negative would be that the price can be bit more pricy than costco or other stores in town. Also, closing down the pharmacy made it harder for me to get access to my maintenance medicine.”
