“Saw a parent with a child less than 2 years old in the basket of a trolley at self service. Notified staff to please tell parent to follow the safety rules as per what is stated on the trolley. The satanic (and I know this because of his sigil of leviathan and lucifer tattoos) staff member said it is not our job to do so. And I said so it’s not your job to up hold the health and safety of your customers under the WHO&S statutes that state duty of care to staff and customers alike. Manager please do something about this staff member Incident at 11:47am 15 January 2024 self serve checkout and reported to staff member who didn’t care. Interaction with staff member was recorded.”

“Beware shoppers! I bought 3 items, didn't realise the security tags were still on there. I was at the self serve. I got one tag off, thanks to utube, the other 2 have ink inside them. I live an hour away from the nearest 'big store'. Annoying!”

“Woolies I find is a little more expensive. But their fruit and veg section, is always full and clean a looks great and produce looks good. Same said for the Deli, meat and bakery areas. The shelves are always well stocked and the store has a clean neat look about it. The parking is good but often full at peak times meaning a couple of circuits.”

Your Gluten Free range in your freezer section was great, BETTER than any store in Launceston & surrounds, whether Woolworths, Coles, or IGA ... great job management, wonderful staff. I'll no doubt drive back out there from Launceston to stock back up on GLUTEN FREE ITEMS, and a comfortable, pleasant customer shopping experience, along with great customer service!! 10/10 and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!👍👍👍👍👍”

“The new entrance is too big for such a small area and makes going around the Bread and cake isle very difficult now as it’s like a one way around the bakery area. Plus the Bakery is absolutely pathetic compared to every other Woolworths stores I have been in. There is no in store Fresh Bakery either. Woolworths Smithton seriously needs an upgrade refurbishment plus New Trolleys like the Wynyard Woolies has now. I also believe that Woolworths Smithton needs to be in a different location because of how small the store is. Plus because the store is so small Therefore the packing staff should be restocking shelves while the store is closed , as it’s too difficult to get to reach for items when there Taking up the room in the small narrow isles. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate to the customers”

“We arrived off the boat and headed to our accommodation with a detour at Coles. Wish we had gone to Woolworths. Girl at deli clearly had not packed any of the cold meat away but said it was closed. We were 5 minutes too late. Couldn't find quite a few items in the store, didn't seem to stock them. Some of the produce the next day seemed a bit bruised and old.”

“Some of the staff here make your shopping experience less enjoyable with their demeanor and attitude. There's definitely a relationship between the local's and the staff in this store (to the point both are rude and inconsiderate to unfamiliar faces). Stock is often missing from shelves and they occasionally run out of daily item's like bread and milk. Meat is very limited in variety and quality and considering this store is literally amongst veggie farms the vegetables are rediculously priced. I try to visit this store early in the day to avoid the crowded check-outs and with no self service available you must deal with unpleasant staff.”
