Anything you buy here, you have a year to try it out, if it doesn't work out for you, you can return it for a full refund. I'm thankful for that because I've had some items that didn't work out as well as I though they would for me, I've returned and gotten what does work better for me. All the staff here are very helpful and friendly, they all come around and ask if we have any questions, and they are happy to help. I highly recommend REI for all your outdoor needs, and even some indoor stuff.”

“Damn, Whole Foods, you'd better just step aside. Mother's Market and Kitchen is one of the nicest healthy grocery stores I've ever visited. I went to the Signal Hill location with a friend the other day (it was my first time shopping there), and was really impressed with the cleanliness of the store, the crisp merchandising, and the prices. Kind of a smaller store, but the selection was outstanding. Again, compared to WFM, it was very reasonable. We shared a quick snack of prepared lasagna, and it was as good as anything you'd get in a restaurant, at half the price. We also enjoyed some delicious peanut butter cookies. I love that they strongly discourage solicitors outside the front door, which was very refreshing. There's ample parking and there's also a nice outdoor dining area. Glad to know they're in the Long Beach area now!”

“Worst target location I've been to in my entire life. Prices are on average 10-20% higher than the nearby store in East Hollywood and the staff is poorly trained. If you ever really need to get something from this specific location just order it through the app for in store pickup and you'll not only save time but also pay a much lower price. They're not allowed to match their own app/website prices in store and tell you to order everything for store pickup instead. Some items are even 35% more expensive in the store. It's a ridiculous management over there. The one in East Hollywood (Sunset Blvd) is a 5/5 Star store but this one is close to being a scam store.”

“This has been a favorite grocery store for a long time. I have been giving the self checkout lanes a chance and used the different types a few times now. I understand they can be cost saving measures to keep prices down. It’s changed the store for worse. The line waits for humans are far longer with typically only one or two open. Crowded isles with product and people near all check out lanes. The process of self check out is jammed, chaotic, and frustrating. The self check out clerks work hard and clearly are doing as best as they can. They still end up checking people out individually. It maybe a great idea. It may work in other stores. But it’s made going to this store a chore and has turned me to look to shop elsewhere.”

“Where I'm from, we didn't have a Sprouts. It was very far, but living here I was excited to see a Sprouts so close to us. It was very large with a lot more products that caught my attention. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the products available were well stocked. The store was clean, even for being busy. It wasn't crowded though, and I found more than I planned for!”

Each isle is stacked to the T with groceries and items to make tasty meals. Nice variety of brands, too. You won’t spend a crazy amount here on organic and super healthy choices. All organic items are decently priced, especially under the Ralph’s 101 brand. You can save a lot and find excellent deals. They have a fresh bread section, and a bakery that produces cakes and other desserts. Good quality produce and meats. The store and bathrooms were kept clean, even though this Ralphs is a little older, it feels nice inside. Free parking out front. Bathrooms located inside towards the back.”

I used to work a few miles away from Elat Market and know this area pretty well. Parking can be a hassle since this area is always so busy. Many bakeries, restaurants, and stores are on the same side of the street. It's also hectic inside the market (people push you out of their way with their shopping cart). If you must shop here, come early on a Sunday morning. That will make your shopping experience much smoother.”
