“I love the store because of the fruits and vegetable varieties. I like the cheese many European choices although in Aldi there are more varieties. The lamb grounded meat is great in Lidl and they have so many promotions for grass fed meat. You can also find butter and cheese from grass fed cows which is great. There is also parking which is a huge bonus.”

“Met Foods is a neighborhood staple. You can't go wrong. THE best and biggest fresh garlic in town! All of the individual departments are great and most of the cashiers are very sweet and helpful. I find almost everything I need here. Deli is good - I like my cold cuts sliced medium, not thin - they always do it right. The rolls are great. The Catania Italian bread is worth the trip alone. They always have Wise brand chips - which is a must in my house! Parking on site and fantastic produce (especially the tomatoes). They also deliver - which is great for my elderly Mom. If I had to nit-pick, I would say to add shopping carts to the front of the store (not just the back or behind the registers) because it woud be more convenient than where they keep them now. And they should offer reusable bags at a lower price. But neither of these is a deterrent! Support your local establishments. It's what keeps a neighborhood, a neighborhood!”

“Store itself is nice. Who needs name brands when you have stuff just as good for way less. Love seeing the crazy amount of stuff I can get for a low price. Main issue is the area. It's Jamaica Ave, so don't expect a perfect time all the time. I myself haven't had any issues as of yet but someday I know I will.”

“Terrible, 3 times I go into this store with my small backpack where I have my medicine and phone, no problems, then 4th time this young man stops me saying I need to take my bag off leave with him, yet I see people with bags and backpacks in store. He wouldn't let me go, will never shop there again. They don't deserve business.”
