“Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Negligence and Unprofessional Conduct I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction and concern regarding an incident that occurred at your store on 26 December 2023, resulting in a severe injury to my 5-year-old child. This incident not only exposed a serious safety hazard within your establishment but also highlighted the grossly inadequate response and unprofessional conduct of the store manager. Upon my child sustaining open wounds to his face due to a falling shelf, the manager's attempt to clean the wound with toilet paper was not only inappropriate but also demonstrated a lack of basic first aid knowledge. Despite my explicit request for proper first aid, the manager failed to locate suitable supplies in the first aid box. Furthermore, the manager's decision to leave the premises in search of necessary medical supplies left my child unattended for an unacceptable period of at least 10 minutes. This disregard for urgency while my child was bleeding and crying is distressing and unacceptable. Equally troubling was the complete absence of care and sympathy demonstrated by the manager throughout the entire ordeal. Instead of providing reassurance and support, the manager's actions, including slamming the door on us as we left the office, were entirely unprofessional. I insist on a thorough investigation into this matter, along with a detailed account of the corrective actions your store plans to implement to prevent such incidents in the future. Additionally, I expect a formal apology for the distress caused to my child and our family due to the manager's negligence and inappropriate behavior. The well-being and safety of your customers, especially children, should be of utmost priority. I trust that you will address this matter promptly and take the necessary steps to ensure a safer and more compassionate environment within your store.”
