“Had to wait 45mins for a Friday lunch. First the good. Food was as good as it looked: steak was so fatty yet so juicy, and sushi lunch set was sumptuous for a fair price. What could improve was the inconsistent table service. We were seated at the sushi bar counter near the door. It was tough to get any waiting staff’s attention, that we had to ask the ones preparing food for help a few times. Then we had our sushi delivered wrongly 2x. Finally when i asked for the bill, i was pointed to “somewhere” at the back to settle it. Which was weird, since I didn’t expect it of a restaurant of this ilk, and also they had earlier brought the bill to the customers next to us.”

“Hard to tell if the food served here is authentic Okinawan but for sure, the ones we had were tasty! The raw bittergourd salad may not suit those who hate eating raw vegetables but it was refreshing as an appetiser. The pork belly was soft and well seasoned, as was the rice. Noodles were cooked al dente while the purple tapioca ice cream was sweet but flat. There was a Kid's Beer option that was fun (it's actually apple soda packaged in a beer-like bottle). Will be back to try the other dishes!”

“10/10 for the quality and quantity of Japanese food offerings in the sushi omakase combo. Came to celebrate my anniversary with my partner, left full in both our bellies and our hearts. Extremely hearty experience with the so ever cheerful local chef Gary who never failed to make the experience so comfortable and enjoyable throughout! Shout out to the friendly servers as well. Definitely a recommend for anyone looking for a well-priced and delicious omakase treat. 🙂”

“Quick a decent place to have izakaya. One thing I always return for is the kong ba pau, love that the meat is leaner side! Sashimi and sticks isn’t the best but was decent. Garlic butter grilled seafood and mentaiko egg was great with generous sauce! Would recommend for izakaya lover who likes wide variety.”

“We had an absolutely incredible dinner with stellar service and a relaxing, calm atmosphere here. In particular, the octopus was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. I highly recommend adding the alcohol pairing with the dinner. The orchid gin cocktail was particularly wonderful. We had a nice conversation with the staff (I apologize for not getting the female server's name, who was very friendly and knowledgeable) and Joshua. We will definitely return!”

Took my friend here for her birthday celebration and we were delighted with the affordable a la carte buffet dishes, especially the beef cubes and prawn tempura. The sashimi was quite nice. “It was a very cozy space for family diners. There is a big space in front of the restaurant where kids can run around when they are bored to wait foods. The owner and staff were very friendly. Their foods were very nice and similar quality to Izaka-ya in Japan. Prices are a bit expensive. However I will visit there again. They are one of the best Japanese restaurants for families I can recommend.”
