Not that much We started with the soup, the ingredients were fresh and the taste was perfect. “Koto is the first Japanese restaurant opened in Finland, offering authentic Japanese food. We come here every now and then. There are several dishes we order every time or frequently, and Ebi Tempura (king prawn) is definitely the top one. Their Unadon (eel) is the best among all the others in Helsinki that are offering the dish.”

“Really enjoyed the food here. Had COVID and had to order food to the hotel. I wrote some words in Japanese (as I teach Japanese) and managed to get a thank you message from the Japanese chef. It really warmed my heart a lot. Today, before I left for the airport, I went over to the restaurant to express my thanks and ordered 2 more bento. “This place looks like it has so much potential as a hit venue on those days you want to treat yourself. I perhaps ventured in a day when the food selection was not the best. The breaded fish fillet was dry and tasteless. The falafels were also very dry and tasteless. These points are truly dedicated for the decent salad bar, bread and outstanding staff at the venue. Worth a visit only if you’re in the area.”

“There are different options for sushi and hot food. The miso (soup) is good. The space is large and clean. What I thought was bad is that they leave the sushis ready and exposed for a long time at the buffet and the sushis is dry and looks old. They could use less oil in the meat with nodles too.”
