Bread seemed to be low quality packaged sliced bread, which is disappointing with a restaurant at this price point. On the plus side, fish was of good quality and well cooked. “Just look at this egg in the Ramen. Hard boiled ??? Chasiu is just pork loin with no fat(taste) whatsoever, we should have a rolled fatty cut!. How does this place have 4.8? Cobwebs on lights should have been warning enough, there is no Japanese person involved in this establishment, they would be too embarrassed by this. This place is not Japanese. Cantonese music and speaking staff.”

“There are high expectations when visiting a Michelin restaurant. We chose Menu Certitude with wine pairing. La Balette has very nice surroundings and the menu was excellent - the wines too. Service slowed down a bit this evening. The wine came after the dishes and there were 4-5 waiters who were not quite coordinated. Hope this improves. We were asked if we wanted some cheese before dessert. It was not specified that it cost 14 EUR extra. It is important that waiters explain precisely.”

“Amazing sushi and tempura in the heart of Paris. It was one of the best we've tried in Europe. We went there for lunch on a Tuesday, it was packed, and the service was amazing. The ingredients were all fresh and delicious, sushi rolls were special, not the regular rolls you would get somewhere else. Highly recommended!”

“Wow! The service was lightning quick, I got my items less than 10 minutes after ordering. Also, all of the staff were very friendly. The Yakitori skewers are a must have, so good. I also got sake, which they serve hot or cold, and it was very nice. The tofu I ordered was fluffy and soft. There are also sushi chefs who prepare it fresh right in front of you (if you sit at the high chairs). I would definitely recommend coming here if you fancy a change of pace from the local cuisine.”
