“Today, I went for first time to have a casual meal after work around 6pm, the restaurant was busy but had a really good enviroment, sat at the sushi train, had an ice cold Saporo, and several sushi plates, all made in front of me, fresh and tasty! The waitresses were happy to serve even if they were busy. Def stopping by again.”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Donto Sapporo Japanese Restaurant, and the overall experience was a delight. The food itself was a standout with fresh and delectable ingredients that satisfied my taste buds. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Japanese dishes, each prepared with care and precision. From the flavorful sashimi to the savory tempura, every dish showcased the quality of their ingredients. However, I must admit that getting the staff's attention proved to be a bit challenging. Although the food was excellent, the service fell short as it was difficult to reach the staff when we needed assistance. Nevertheless, once they did attend to us, they were polite and helpful. During the winter season, the restaurant's ambiance took a slight dip as some patrons didn't properly slide the entrance door shut, causing a chill to creep in. While it can be understandable with many guests coming and going, it did affect the overall dining experience. Despite these minor setbacks, Donto Sapporo Japanese Restaurant's food was undoubtedly the highlight. The freshness and quality of the ingredients shined through, making each bite a delightful experience. If you're a fan of authentic Japanese cuisine and don't mind the occasional wait for service, I highly recommend trying Donto Sapporo Japanese Restaurant. Just be mindful of the chilly winter breeze if you find yourself seated close to the entrance.”

Not a welcoming environment yet the South Korean Cafe next door is absolutely stunning and the Owner of the cafe and staff are so amazing compared to here. Also, this is the first sushi place that charges for mayo 💀 hire better staff or train your staff on customer service because its bringing your store down.”

“So hot and smelly because of the poor ventilation. The restaurant is full of smell of smoke and oil. We ordered a medium rare sirloin steak and mignon steak salmon steak combo Teppanyaki. The steak were over cooked and become hard and dry. The steamed rice was ideal for pan fried but too hard and dry if for eating solely. We finished our meal within 30 mins as we couldn’t tolerate the suffocating environment.”
