“I had a really good time here with my friends. We were greeted cordially on arrival and taken to our seat. Our server was really nice and attentive. The ambiance was nice but it was so dark we had to read the menus with our phones. For appetizers, we had the roasted/baked oysters and escargot. We weren't too thrilled about the escargots, but the oysters were quite delicious. We had the Thai fried rice with shrimp, the steak, and the fish. The steak looked so lonely on the plate since I didn't get any accompaniment. We also got the cheese cake as an anniversary gift, which was really sweet. My friends and I were celebrating over 18 years and 25 years of knowing each other. Overall, it was a very nice experience, and I will definitely go back again.”

“This is a good choice for a sushi spot downtown. It serves up basic sushi fare but it is always consistent in quality and there is usually a seat available. We stopped in last night. BarChi did not disappoint. Our server, Jay, was phenomenal. He was very nice, coordinated and always smiling. Our food came out beautifully presented and on time. Highlights included king oyster mushrooms, tempura, spicy scallop handroll, and inari. After a dining fiasco at another restaurant the night prior, it was a pleasure to have Jay as our server. We will definitely come back.”

I think it could fit 100 people inside also is very organized and clean unlike other Asian restaurants that I have been to the staff member was not really helpful but she’s pretty nice the second impression about this place is they offer variety of Asian foods, especially Taiwanese foods.all of them seems very delicious. We order 8 different dishes, and six out of them taste awesome the prize is very reasonable and the portion is OK we paid around $20 per person. I would come back next time if I have friends gathering or family gathering.”

“Me, my husband and our five-year-old had dinner at Rakko tonight. This was our second time there and we have been very impressed both times. The fish is soooo fresh and buttery, and the portions are big! They really load each roll up with big pieces of fish. Rakko has a great atmosphere and every person dining in seemed to be having a great time. It’s very casual and relaxed. The staff is amazing. Lisa was our waitress - she is super nice and very helpful. Our son loved her so much he even gave her a hug as we left, lol. We also had a brief interaction with one of the cooks and he was also very nice. This place is a little pricey if you’re used to $1.50/$2.00 rolls but it’s totally worth it given the portions and quality of ingredients. We eat sushi a lot and this is one of the best places in the area. Will definitely be back!”

“The environment was cozy and quaint. With sufficient lighting and music to enjoy the experience. They have a large menu on the wall or rather hanging from the ceiling. The prices are actually really affordable for the quality of food you're getting! The servings are large and the fish is delicious and fresh! We ordered the large Sashimi Sampler for only $25, which is "Chef's Choice" and was pleasantly surprised! The Escolar or "Hawaiian Butter Fish" (Pictured by itself) was melt-in-your-mouth buttery and clean! We also ordered 4 of their signature rolls including a blue crab roll. They were all not only delicious, but we were given an extra serving of salmon sashimi with the rolls! We will definitely be coming back! If there were any downsides at all to our experience, I'd say the music was a bit too loud and the soda machine was really tall and I felt almost childlike trying to get ice into my cup. Lol.”
