“I have been here twice, once in 2017 and once a week ago (2024), and I know that their Tonkatsu has remained the same since it looks exactly the same as it did 7 years ago. Regardless, I had a good experience here overall, and I would recommend it to people if they ask about Japanese food within the Twin Cities. For the agedashi tofu, our server poured the liquid after the tofu was brought to our table, which was the first time I have seen it done that way in the Twin Cities. The tonkatsu contained a good amount of rice and meat which was great, but the "potato salad" was bland, which I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be the case. Having some cucumbers and grape tomatoes was good for me, but I still wasn't sure if that was normal. Regardless, I liked it. Other than those, I enjoyed the ramen and the chicken kara.age as well. They were as good as I imagined they would be. In terms of the nigiri and maki rolls, I thought they were overpriced and there were not enough to fill up my friend's stomach. She had to order additional rolls to ensure that she could get a decent amount of food to be full. Our bill accumulated quickly and ended up being beyond what we had expected. One thing I would also mention is that Kyatchi is located in a good location that makes it very convenient for those in the King Field area to go there, including walking. If people ask me to recommend 5 Japanese restaurants in the Twin Cities, then I would mention this establishment.”

“Been to Los arcos before and it's one of the more popular Mexican places in the area, even though it's Tex Mex, not authentic Mexican. I've enjoyed their dishes before. Tonight I got shrimp fajitas and they are completely flavorless. The vegetables and shrimp were marinated in what tasted like vegetable water. You can see in the photo that they are lacking flavor. Need more garlic, salt, lime, cajun, oil. Was not a real marinade. I actually sent them back and talked to the manager, but when they came back they tasted the same, just hotter. I asked for shredded cheese and that was a $3 surcharge. Did not get the complementary chips and salsa. The manager never came back to check on me and the waitress said so sorry and walked away. Granted, I told them Id take the food home but was dissatisfied with the taste and would probably make a marinade at home to make them more flavorful. Having said that, they did not make any effort to comp my food. The manager never came to follow up, blamed it on new cooks. I paid full price for the meal and drinks that I complained about, which isn't great customer service. Had they made an effort to comp something, I wouldn't write a negative review, but felt like I got very bland food for full price even after complaining about it and sending it back. Normally had a good experience here, but tonight was disappointing. I've worked in the restaurant business before and it would have been appropriate to comp something out of good will. Will go to Los Dos Amigos next time.”

“We had a good time here overall. I did have a few small nitpicks though. We ordered avocado tempura, and agedashi tofu. Both these tasted nice. We also had a veggie udon, one veggie rolls and one crispy rolls made veggie without shrimp. The veggie roll tasted fantastic- delicious and flavorful, the veggie one without shrimp was ok but we asked for something to be substituted instead of the shrimp and we just got it without the shrimp which was a little disappointing. The broth for the udon was salty. They could really add a couple of other vegetarian roll options I think. I also was a little disappointed that the floor of the restaurant not very clean and it bothered me that given the upscale pricing and nature of the place, the floor felt sticky to walk on. Maybe this was just a one off day. Service was attentive !”

“We always pick up. Love the food and the best place for fresh, authentic Chinese food. The sushi is good too..not fancy looking, like in San Diego but tastes great and fresh. They give you large portions, especially the house lo mein. 😋 Yummy. The service is nice and they definitely make you feel comfortable. Friendly. Plus they have an all you can eat Buffets. I want to try that next”
