“A friend and I ventured up to Ft. Collins to have a fun day together. Since he knows I'm a ramen fiend, he suggested Kujira. After checking out the reviews and photos on my favorite review site (yep, you guessed it. Yelp!) I was down to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! On our way to the restaurant, we called to make reservations, but they don't take reservations. We were expecting kind of a wait but ended up walking right in and grabbing a table. This was on a Sunday at 1:30pm. We both ordered hot tea, and they brought out a really fancy glass pitcher of hot water, some honey, and a little box with all sorts of Yamamotoyama teas. I love this brand of tea! I had the Genmatcha Green Tea, and my friend chose the Genmai-Cha Green Tea. For appetizers, we ordered the Shishito Peppers and the Takoyaki. Both were great. The Shishito Peppers were a bit crunchy for my liking, I like mine a little more blistered and cooked through. The Takoyaki was delicious. I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and added bamboo shoots. I selected mild spice (because I read in reviews that the bowl was too-hot-to-handle for some), and it was not spicy at all. Total mistake on my part because I usually order medium spice. Next time (because there will be a next time), I will totally get medium spice. The broth tasted authentic, rich, and dreamy. The noodles had a pleasant texture and consistency. The egg was super soft, it seemed lightly poached. I prefer mine ramen-egg style where it's medium boiled in the shell and peeled. The food was filling and delicious. The restaurant was cute and felt authentic. The service was a bit lacking, as stated in other reviews. The plastic dishes were well-used and chipped. They could use an upgrade. I will definitely be back for another bowl of tonkotsu ramen, some more takoyaki, and to try a few of their other offerings.”

You will not find better fish anywhere else in Colorado. Absolutely recommend this place to any and all sushi lovers or first time having sushi. Jei himself is an absolute peach and deserves 5 stars himself for astetics and service.”

“Eolus is always a fantastic dining experience. The menu has changed each time I've been there, but on my recent visit I had the daily special of cream of mushroom soup, lamb lollipops, venison, black cod, and palisade peach custard with biscotti. Everything was seasoned perfectly and perfectly portioned. The wait staff is wonderful and can make recommendations based on what you would like. I highly recommend eating here if you're in Durango.”

“This is hands down the best ramen I’ve ever had. The flavors are so bold!! The pork tastes like it was grilled in a barbecue..just so amazing. Gyoza and takoyaki were delicious too. Service was a bit slow but they were really busy and the food made up for it.”

“Yummy food and fun experience. Menu prices reflect the fact that they cook in front of you (mostly over $30 per person, $15 per child, depending) but the service was quick and interactive, and includes mini soup and salad appetizers. Depends on who you get to cook for you, but generally expect lots of fire and banter. Go when you’re in an adventurous mood!”

“Stopped by for happy hour on a Sunday. Overall I was very happy with the value and quality of the food and drinks. We tried the four cocktails on the menu and they were all good - my fav was the sandia margarita, but the spicy pineapple marg was also surprisingly good. The shishito peppers were a good value, and tacos were tasty (slightly preferred the al pastor). Overall this place is a great happy hour stop, especially on weekends.”

“This place has fabulously delicious food. Ordered the classic Orange Chicken w/Steam Rice, Beef Broccoli w/Steam Rice, Wonton, Spring Rolls and Dumplings for takeout. Didn't have to wait long as our food came out in no time at all. The service was excellent and the food wasn't greasy at all, as mentioned in another review. It's clean, small and simple on the inside. All the food we ordered was still hot when we got home.”

“If you want some hot, fresh, delicious Chinese food in Beloit this is your place. I don’t eat sushi due to allergies so I can’t review that. The hot food is always hot and always taste fresh. Beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein and boneless spare ribs are my family’s favorite and they taste delicious every single time. The food is juicy, flavorful and fresh. The portions are very gracious, even with their $6 lunches. Customer service varies but has never been bad, some are just extra friendly and a few just want your order and that’s it, which is fair. Try this place out for yourself, I definitely recommend it.”
