“It’s a small eatery, sits only 10 pax but the customers eat and go. Worth the wait. I had the 5 piece sashimi set, grilled lumberjack cheek and sake. The sashimi is so fresh and delicious, served fast after ordering. Enjoyed every bite of the seafood. The fish cheek was well salted and perfectly grilled, it’s the best I had eaten so far. Please give it a try. So happy to chance upon this humble sushi place that delivers such good quality that delights one’s palate.”

Proper wholesome, delicious curry with fruity aftertaste. Nicely fried Katsu that melts in your mouth and juicy pickles. Everything you could want in a curry. Is it the best I’ve ever had? No. That still goes to Kojika in Ofunato, but it’s definitely a top 5 competitor.”

“A Horrifying Experience at Chunagon in Osaka - Steer Clear! I regret to say that my recent visit to Chunagon in Osaka was an abysmal disappointment. My party and I had high hopes after reading positive Google reviews, but our experience left us feeling cheated and disgusted. From the moment we entered, we were met with eerie silence and unwelcoming vibes. The uncomfortable atmosphere was only enhanced by the staff's unsettling demeanor, making us feel on edge throughout our meal. To make matters worse, the food was nothing short of revolting. Every dish we ordered was a disaster, and we found it difficult to stomach even a single bite. Thankfully, we have yet to experience any health issues, but I wouldn't be surprised if that changes given the appalling quality of the food. We were so appalled by the experience that we had no choice but to cut our visit short. In retrospect, the positive reviews we encountered online seem blatantly disingenuous, likely generated by bots to deceive unsuspecting customers. As a fellow traveler, I implore you to avoid Chunagon at all costs. Osaka has a wealth of incredible culinary experiences to offer, and it would be a shame for anyone to miss out on those in favor of this abhorrent establishment.”

“When I passed by the store on December 29th, I decided to line up because it opened at 12:00 on Fridays. 5th, so 1st round secured You will be guided to a counter seat. When I was looking at the kitchen, I noticed that they were assigned to each type of dish, so that's all for the tempura, that's for the dashi rolls, and that's all for the nigiri, which is not enough for a solo customer who is looking forward to conversation. Please refer to the receipt photo for order status. I had to wait 10 minutes for the last salmon and raw octopus to come out.”

“I think this place is just perfect value for money. In fact, if you want to eat this much sushi in Korea, you have to pay more, but when you eat it in Korea, people say it's a waste of money, but it's cheaper here, so it's good value for money. The taste is average, but there was no waiting line, so I came without a plan and had to wait. I don't like it, but if I want to eat sushi, I just eat it. For my standard, the cost-effectiveness was very good. This time, I traveled with P-style and visited about twice. The second time I visited during a busy time, the quality of the sushi was very poor and there was a lot of wasabi in the sushi, so I checked each item one by one, removed it, and ate it. Well, it's not that I put so much in it that I would post it somewhere, but it was really an ambiguous amount (about 4 times the amount of regular wasabi...?). It felt a little ambiguous... I have nothing to say other than cost-effectiveness. It just depends on what you think, but it's okay to skip the wasabi. I'm not saying I won't go there next time I go to Osaka, but I recommend it if you want to eat sushi with the right taste at a reasonable price.”
