Chapultepec Lake

( 8 reviews )

Av. Grutas, Bosque de Chapultepec I Secc, Miguel Hidalgo, 11580 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico

“Great place to take a boat ride, walk around the area and eat something. There are ducks, fishes, turtles and a variety of birds in the zone. You can rent 2 types of boats which are not expensive. Entrance is free. Restaurants are not near by but you can go walking. Nearby bathrooms were not working properly so I had to walk to the other ones at the other side of the lake. Amazing place to go on a weekend, you can also have some picnic in the grass near the lake.”

“Really beautiful cenote. Very peaceful and, as other reviews say, great for kids. We were there for a few hours at peak times and very few other visitors. All very shanty. It’s only 4.5m depth at deepest point and plenty of shallow bits. Lovely traditional restaurant as well with great quality food served on nice ceramic platters. A little slice of heaven.”

Closed until 09:00 AM

Blvd. Kukulcan KM 3.5, Kukulcan Boulevard, Zona Hotelera, 77520 Cancún, Q.R., Mexico

“**Highlights** We got to experience seeing wildlife with two dives - observing natural coral, large sea turtles and fish. The instructors, Daniel and Alberto are fantastic, sweet, and very patient. **Recommendations** Definitely go to scuba diving cancun online, and book through the website. On the website, you can add the date that you want to dive and if you have diving experience. It is best to really pay attention to the instructor during the debrief and practice your skills while at the shallow end of the beach. This will help with nervousness and anxiety. If you are a person that gets motion sick easily (like me) take a motion sick pill at least an hour before taking off to the first dive. The boat can get very rocky especially when waves are strong. **My Experience** With instructors like Daniel and Alberto, you are sure to have tons of fun. Even though I was paying attention, I was very nervous doing this for the first time. The best thing for me was to get out of my own head. The instructors really did a wonderful job of being guides. You can tell that they love what they do because they are very careful about maintaining customer safety. After such a pleasant experience, getting to see all this great wildlife, I would love to experience the water like this again. Snorkeling is great, but scuba is a complete game changer. Do it, especially with these guys!!!”

Carretera Costera Sur km. 17,782 El Cedral Iberostar, 77710 Cozumel, Q.R., Mexico

“This place is one of the best diving/snorkeling experiences in Mexico! While I was staying at the Iberostar, I was told to try activities with Dressel Divers, and it didn’t disappoint! Although you can find cheaper places in other areas, but these guys here have access to some of the most amazing reefs you will ever see! I was fortunate enough to be in the company of an expert diver and very nice gentleman called Akatzin. He was my guide in both trips in which we visited Santa Rosa reef and Palancar Jardines. It was an amazing snorkeling experience. I was able to spot several sea animals such as a Nurse shark, two dolphins, a humongous sea turtle, a large grouper fish, two stingrays and many other species. It was a blast!! And I am very encouraged to come back for scuba certification next trip. My experience was excellent and Akatzin definitely was a fun companion!”

Perif. Luis Echeverría 1570, Sin Nombre de Col 16, 25270 Saltillo, Coah., Mexico

“The worst place to train; the cost-benefit ratio is NOT favorable. Showers in poor condition, pool in terrible condition, steam? like a steam It never works and the employees turn it off and leave if they want to leave early, the schedules are never respected, the staff's attitude is terrible, they serve you with disgust, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD CLUB, SPORT CITY IS NOT IT. Very high annuity and monthly payments for the service you receive, I would pay $1 a month and it continues to be expensive. There are better places to train; Take care of your money and your mental health.”
