Seventy-Five Mile Beach, 75 Mile Beach Road, K'gari QLD 4581, Australia

“This is an awesome little fresh water creek on the east side of Fraser Island. Take your floaties and swimmers. Awesome for kids and a family trip. If you haven't been here before put it on the bucketlist. Plenty of parking and you need a 4wd to access this area.”

Wallaman Falls
4.8
( 16 reviews )

Lookout Rd, Wallaman QLD 4850, Australia

“Beautiful right now after recent rain. Facilities are great, maintained well etc. It is very hot and humid at the moment though- make sure you pack lots of water and bug repellent and be properly prepared for the walk down to the base of the falls.”

LOT 93 Mount Spec Rd, Crystal Creek QLD 4816, Australia

“Beautiful area, clean, easy parking, great picnic area with tables and amenities. Chilli plunge pools, awesome little hiking trail. Free entry. Was not overcrowded when I was there in November”

Closed until 05:00 AM

55 School Rd, Yeronga QLD 4104, Australia

“Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because in December the pool is heated way too much for summer.”

Emu Park Main Beach
4.7
( 10 reviews )

8 Hill St, Emu Park QLD 4710, Australia

“Love this place. The people seem quite nice, the view is incredible, the water is wonderful... There's an area just up the steps from the beach to wash off which is brilliant and toilets very close by. There are picnic and BBQ areas, a playground, and a place to buy food and drink. MAIN CONCERN is I've heard from a few people that the lifeguards don't know life saving techniques as there was a recent incident where they pulled someone out of the water and didn't know what to do and simply said they were dead and were going to leave it at that. A nurse, thankfully, was on the beach and told them what to do whilst she performed CPR and brought the person back. So in short - love the beach and facilities, but I wouldn't put my life in the hands of the life guards.”

Coomba Falls
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Coomba Waterhole Rd, Maidenwell QLD 4615, Australia

“Waterfall was low, but to be expected when we haven't had much rain. The water hole itself was full and great for cooling off in that 40⁰ heat we were having. Plenty of shade! Easy walk down with the new steps, be prepared for going back up! It's not a long walk and plenty of oldies were doing it. Lots of flies (typical of Aussie bush) so pack the spray. Take a picnic blanket for the ground.”

Alligators Nest Swimming Hole
4.8
( 10 reviews )

Walter Hill QLD 4854, Australia

“Another great place to swim. Beautiful crystal clear water, soft sandy bottom & cool water. Easy access to the water via built stairs. Parking is a little limited but easy to find. Large area for picnics or playing around. Beware of the Marsh (Horse) flies.”

Cougal Cascade
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

Currumbin Valley QLD 4223, Australia

“Very serene and peaceful on a weekday it's quiet. No dogs as it's a national park. Public toilets, parking is very minimal. Picnic tables at start of walk, easy for kids to walk the paved trail. Chairs along the way to take in the scenery or stop for a break. Listening to the serenity of the waterfalls below is divine.”

Burleigh Sports Club
4.3
( 8 reviews )

111 Christine Ave, Burleigh Waters QLD 4220, Australia

“Visited here for the first time in January 2024, an excellent experience. I was told that the club did a new fitout a year or so ago, a real triumph. Both indoor and outdoor seating, the later looking over the cricket oval. The food was excellent particularly the fresh fish. Drinks at good prices too, with large savings each purchase if you are a member.”

Skydive Airlie Beach
4.5
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 07:00 AM

Skydive Australia Building, 1 Air Whitsunday Rd, Flametree QLD 4802, Australia

“Absolutely incredible experience! It was my first time skydiving so I was feeling quite nervous, Zac was amazing at explaining everything and helping to keep my nerves down! Such an amazing experience and the views over the Whitsundays are absolutely breathtaking. The flight up is equally as beautiful as the skydive down. 100% recommend the Skydive Australia team at Airlie Beach for anyone looking to do a tandem skydive, best day ever!!”

Emmagen Creek
4.7
( 16 reviews )

Daintree National Park, Cape Tribulation Bloomfield Rd, Cape Tribulation QLD 4873, Australia

“Just amazing …you’ll find this gem only 7 kms North (part of it, a dirt road) from Cape Tribulation. There's a walking track starting just to the left before the creek. A short walking distance, you’ll find a fork in the road. If you turn left, you’ll get to the swimming hole. There's a rope swing attached to the tree, which you can use to dive into the water. If you go right, you’ll get to an amazing area where you can swim at the left or just relax in the shallow part of the creek at the right side (it reminded me of the spa). Magical place.”

Cleveland Aquatic Centre

( 9 reviews )
Closed until 05:00 AM

222 Russell St, Cleveland QLD 4163, Australia

“Andrea is the WOMAN! She is the best swimming coach for my boys! She is engaging, firm and kind. She can laugh and makes learning fun! My boys look forward to their weekly swimming lesson. Thanks so much for being a pro in and out of the pool. Cleveland Aquatic Centre needs to duplicate and clone you. I'm serious!”

Kinbombi Falls
4.3
( 8 reviews )

Kinbombi Rd, Kinbombi QLD 4601, Australia

“A lovely place to visit with good amenities. The parking spots are wide enough to allow a good setup for a weekend stay but not much longer. The falls, when running lend a coolness to the area that allows for a few degrees drop compared to the hotter surrounding area. The paths are not long and are clearly marked, but are quite steep and have no guardrails on the cliff edges in some places. Highly recommend you have a good sense of balance if you intend to go along the tracks. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and would like to soak up some beautiful nature.”

Langlands Park Memorial Public Pool
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 05:00 AM

5 Panitya St, Stones Corner QLD 4120, Australia

“We were looking forward to visiting this pool. However the slide they have there is only for children under 6. Was given an alternative by the lifeguard who pointed at the inflatable. Which is supposed to be open on weekdays 11:30-12:30, however not long after he pointed it out another lifeguard started deflating it and packing it down. It was only 12:00, so was only available for 30 mins before they packed it away. It seems nice and clean, that's why it has 2 stars despite the negatives.”

Colmslie Pool & Health Club

“Jemmalee and Chantal are incredible! Always making sure the place runs smoothly. Love these girls. What a great spot this place is. Thank you both for making it such a special experience”
