“a very quiet beach with extremely soft sand, beautiful sunrises, and warm water in the mornings. this was our favourite beach of all the ones we went to in maui.”

“Ehukai Beach Park is the home of the world famous Banzai Pipeline and probably the most famous surf spot on the North Shore. It’s a long wide beach connected to Sunset Beach. It’s a little hard finding the beach if you’re not familiar with the area. There’s a parking lot or parking along Kamehameha highway. Luckily it was early enough that we found a spot close to the beach path. Bring what you need…and leave nothing behind. It’s a nice beach to explore! The highlight was watching the surfers do their tricks.”

“The only thing more beautiful than this lovely, but very small, beach was the locals we visited with. They actually restored this beach to bring it to its full potential and they were so very proud of it along with being welcoming and kind and telling us about the beach and rabbit island, which you see in the picture. Very beautiful place and people!”
55-017 Kamehameha Hwy, Hauula, HI 96717, United States
“By far the BEST BEACH EVER! The water is crystal clear turquoise, the waves get big and beautiful. The environment is so clean and calm. Perfect little hideaway break from the world.”
HI-50, Kekaha, HI 96752, United States
“Beautiful views, saw a couple turtles and fish in the water. There were some tidepools great for little kids (and are hot tub like for all ages). It was a little bit of a walk down to the beach, but the stone steps helped for some of the incline down to the shore. Was fun and not too crowded though it can be hard to get a parking space.”

“The best experience! You have to do it!! This has been on my bucket list for so long, despite me having the biggest fear of falling. I wanted to try and face my fear of it one day, but I didn't think I would actually go through with it. This trip to Hawaii was a honeymoon trip, and my husband was trying to convince me to do it, so we could make the most of our trip! I was so scared to do it, I had a panic attack the night before. But I did it, and it was the most beautiful and amazing experience of my life! I was surprised that it wasn't as scary as I was expecting it to be! I felt like I was flying, not falling. I would absolutely do it again and again!”

“Had a great time. The boat operators were pretty cool and engaged well with everyone on board. We were in a group of eleven who went up that day. The ride out from the dock was very scenic. Once up in the air, it is just really so quiet and peaceful. And the views were great. You can take pictures of your own if you choose, or you can also purchase the ones taken by one of the crew members for 40 dollars. We bought all of the ones of us and there was about 40 something pics. The photos turned out well. Some are attached.”

“Nice beach and the water seemed very calm here. We didn't stay long as we had the road back to take from Hana and didn't want to do it in the dark.”

“I loved this spontaneous stop. Quiet in the mornings with a great view, a small beach area, and even a public restroom.”

“One of my favorite places to bring people to when they come to visit me. Gorgeous views and a kind of serene space because you have to go down some stairs to get there. Bring a towel and go for a lovely warm swim”

“Played Wailua on 11/01/23. The course was absolutely perfect. Right on the ocean with plenty of great ocean views. What a gem for a city course. The greens were pure the fairways were great. The layout of the course is great for all skill levels. Long enough for those who want a challenge. A definite must play for anyone in the area. The course is worth playing over most $300+ courses on the island. The price is hard to beat and worth playing a couple times. The course does get backed up because of the Price and the great conditions. So be prepared to be on Hawaiian time.”

“Sucks. Terrible. Trash everywhere. Locals super hostile. The waves are tiny and totally not good. Sharks in the lineup. Stay away.”

“Awesome surf break for bodyboarders!!! Jump off the , swim or bodyboarder. Great for kids and old people. I went bodyboarding with my son and had so much fun the wave isn’t huge but it’s a fun vibe. Be respectful of the locals and they will give respect !!”

“Awsome beach! we were at the body surfing beach every morning by 7:30 am. temperature of the water was perfect and we visited in January Both beaches are kid friendly however after nap time we go over to the other Beach and that was more for little kids . that beach is the perfect place to go if you want to learn how to scuba dive because it's not real Rocky and coralie so you don't get your feet or anything smashed up either. There's ample picnic tables there's adequate bathrooms they even have a playground for the children to play on however this is also the beach to be at for turtle watching there's always a group that's on the beach restingand they have volunteers that stay there that make sure you do not go anywhere near the turtles and don't interrupt their traveling arrangements. beautiful sunsets perfect photo opportunities and across the street from the beach was a nice little restaurant with a small gift shop and also a delicious store that makes these ice fruity icecream desserts that are huge! But pretty much by 9:00 p.m. it's like a ghost town”
57-35 Kuilima Dr, Kahuku, HI 96731, United States
“The beach is nice, there's a good shady spot to sit under trees in the morning. Probably always a nice breeze due to the location. There's public parking and access from the hotel lot, follow the signs. I assume the chairs are reserved for hotel guests. We went here to snorkel because the beaches to the south had too much surf up. The cove is very protected and the surf break is way out, it was very comfortable swimming... but halfway to high tide it was super cloudy. We saw a few fish but it wasn't worth staying in. It's hard to guess if it would be much better on a different tide, or if this is mostly a nice sheltered spot for kids to swim. Probably wouldn't try snorkeling here again.”
