“There’s an outstanding 3.8 mile walking/biking trail that is paved around Creve Coeur. This trek is 98% flat and you will pass Sailboat Cove, Dripping Falls, Creve Coeur Water Rentals, picnic shelters, lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. I walk this path frequently with one of my brother-in-laws. We see people walking their pets and parents pushing strollers. To avoid the crowds go during the week. There are two restrooms, one is at Sailboat Cove and the other is near Creve Coeur Lake Water Rentals.”

“AMAZING PLACE. I've lived in Missouri all of my life and I had just learned about this place. It was so beautiful. It was like Johnson Shut-Ins but maybe a little bigger and the rocks are a pink granite. The water was clear. There was not a large amount of people there but the water was pretty cold. The path is a little more challenging than Johnson Shut-Ins but not too difficult. There was plenty of parking.”

“Literally saw a lifeguard pull down his pants in front of hundreds of little kids and start peeing in the pool. What type of establishment is this?! Must be why the place is closed down. DO NOT COME HERE IF THEY OPEN BACK UP!!”

“The staff is friendly. A membership includes classes and amenities. Though, some of the amenities seem original and outdated. It is great to offer companion bathrooms but the handheld showers are missing a place to hang or hold. The disabled shower is very dark and needs new or brighter light bulbs. Overall, it is nice to have access to facilities at a more affordable rate.”

“Such a fun family place and a great destination for water lovers, friendly staff and a beautiful beach. The restrooms, shower and changing rooms aren't super clean though, which is somehow expected in a swimming area but still it could use a bit more cleaning I believe. Nevertheless, it's been my most favorite place to enjoy the water and relax in the Kansas City area this summer!!”

“MAJOR GYM DOWNGRADE: management “upgraded” equipment at the gym and in doing so removed 2 of 3 neutral bench press set ups and 5 of 8 benches for free weights… they got rid of the back extension machine for no apparent reason. The management likely didn’t consult members or monitor use of the facilities before making the changes. Before there was rarely a wait for equipment, now there’s always one. Bring back at least 1 of the neutral bench press set ups and 2-3 more benches and it should help some… get rid of the extra pull up assist (it’s rarely used and definitely not enough to justify 2) and bring back the back extension.”

“We enjoyed this nice campground. We were in site 51 and it was more than adequate for our 44’ class a with toad easily parked in front. We had full hookups including sewer and 50 amp. We were here when temps were pushing 100+ every day. It was about 30 minutes from U.M.K.C. Where our son teaches. We did not use but did visit a kids playground and the swim lake as our grandkids might visit on a return trip.”

“I loved coming here as a kid and now my kids do also. We talk about my memories on the drive to camp. Old man I guess. The kids love coming here and can’t wait every summer. It is also nice to have a week without them. They have many activities like horse back riding, swimming, canoeing, and the love the spaghetti dinner with no utensils. Send your kids here if you can.”

“The staff were more into hanging out with each other than doing their job. My child went down the slide, and the guards at the top of the slide were too busy laughing with each other and didn't warn the guard at the bottom. My child was struggling in the water that my husband jumped in to get him. It's quite disappointing that they don't take their job seriously. I guess it's what happens when you hire too many teenagers.”

“This indoor water park is not that large and is more geared towards 8 and under. There are two bigger slides but that only keeps a 12 yo entertained for so long. Most resorts include the cost in the room but they charge $20 plus tax for people staying at the resort. Four of us was $84 and some change. A little pricey for what you get. There are no lifeguards and only two 2-person tubes. So you wait for a two person tube for some time. The toilets are down under the waterpark and I didn’t see many people go down and come back. So I am pretty sure they were all using the pools. One lazy river, one hot tub, one basketball pool, two higher slides, one kids area with 2 kids slides. Not very big. We decided not to go back another day and the kids were not disappointed in that.”
