“I’ve attended this gym for a little over a year, I chose this gym solely based off of their childcare option. The last few months they’ve experienced lack of staff and subsequently I haven’t been able to utilize my membership, on two separate occasions I came and was given a wait time of over an hour. I completely understand staffing issues, especially in the current work environment, and after speaking with two staff members was reassured they had positions filled, we’re training, and would soon be “back to normal”, I started calling first, as its a 45 minute round trip for me - of the 3 times I called ahead of time each and every time I was advised that they were still struggling with staff and childcare was limited. Paying close to $85 a month for a membership I cannot utilize I decided to cancel my membership 6 days after being charged for a full month in which I not once got to workout. I was informed I’d be charged yet another month for a total of $166 for 2 months of non-use. This is outlandish, especially from a business that prides itself on core values. I highly recommend Genesis Health Club, since switching over I’ve never had into wait for childcare they play area and staff is second to none! My only disappointment is that I didn’t find them first! The rates are competitive and the difference is remarkable! They offer a free 3 day trial, and childcare is included I genuinely urge anyone looking to try it out! We now live in a world where scammers will do anything for your money, it’s important we as consumers share our experiences and knowledge! I hope this helps you! 🙂”

“I preface this with we went after school started (half price promo, normally $20/pp for a day pass, and only about 10-15 people were at there while we were 11-4pm). The wibit (inflatables on the water) is a great fun for all ages, but not all bodies. It can be difficult to get back up/on the wibit if you are not fit. This mama needed help every time I fell off, which was frequent with the slime buildup on the inflatables (and wooden steps to help you get up). Still had a blast with my teens (age 15-18). One section of the wibit deflated, much to my kids enjoyment as they made it part of their game, but I'm sure if this were a normal busy weekend it would have been annoying and possibly dangerous. No information was given when we entered (paid the gate admission) nor was any given by the lifeguards, (except when we took the kayaks out past the yellow floats, we were told we were supposed to be out that far). Life vests (must be wore while in the lake/on wibit), kayaks and stand up paddle boards are available by the wibit and included in the price of admission. I'd bring water shoes, a table, chairs, food, water, ice chest, grill, etc and make full day of it. The splash pad/water slide area is more geared towards families/younger children. Lots of chairs (some needing updated) here (none by the lake, only a few picnic tables), and some shaded areas. (Outside) showers are needed if going from lake into water slide, located on backside of waterpark, closer to the lake. Will be back. I can see why people who stay here overnight would be upset day passes are sold to the public.”

“I have floated with Elk River Floats and Wayside for 20 years and always had a great experience. I wanted to post these photos in response to the unfair review left by Rebecca Terry. Don't get the wrong idea from someone who was leaving a review simply because they were mad they didnt pay attention and suffered the consequences. If you simply follow the rules and check in upon entering the property, instead of helping yourself to the river access and parking (trespassing) you will have a great experience. These are 5 signs she drove past, including the signage of the towing company. They are placed at the entrance to the property. 🤷‍♀️”
