Having thousands of square feet of gym with no duplication of the heavily used equipment so everyone has to fight over it. Welcome to DAC. Lovely toxic people visiting the gym who "claim" an entire row of machines for their private workout. Welcome to DAC. Unless you just really need the pool access, you can find what you need at competing gyms for much cheaper. Want to use the good treadmills, the assault bikes, or the rowing machines? Its situated in the auxiliary room right next to the overly loud group fitness group. Have fun with that.”

“Very nicely kept park. Though not from the area, not even from the state anymore, but have managed to meet at this park for a couple events in the last handful of years. Those times, including the most recent one this weekend, have yielded clean and well kept conditions, as well as some very aesthetic features with their noted fountain and other natural elements. My kids loved the playground last time as well.”

“Having served on the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower from 1980 to 1984, I was excited to visit the Eisenhower center in The Villages. What a beautiful memorial to all the military branches and to those who served. I was slightly disappointed, though, that there was very little about the namesake aircraft carrier which I called home for 4.5 years. There are all sorts of donated military memorabilia on display. The most heart wrenching were the letters to families informing them that their loved ones had been lost in action. I was surprised to hear a big band orchestra playing in one on the large auditoriums. Bravo! Quite a collection of talented local resident musicians practicing their passion.”

“Overall a really great place for the family to do activities together. The pool, while not enormous is adequate and very well maintained. There are two gyms with schedule available online, there are many pickle ball players using one of the gyms. The exercise area, including walking /jogging track are upstairs and accessible by stair and elevators. Gym equipment includes LifeFitness, True, Hammer Strength and more. The facility has several room for exercise and also boasts several rooms capable of holding business meetings, get togethers etc. The staff has always been very friendly and the facility is well kept.”

Tennis courts, soccer fields, four baseball diamonds, ample parking, a huge aquatics center with slides and a lazy river, playgrounds, a small lake with a paved walking path and lots of picnic tables and pavilions around the park. Paved trails wind all around the park even lead to some more wooded areas. You can’t go wrong with this park!”

“Really gorgeous facility but dont bring any valuables! I was robbed here when someone went into the locker room while I was swimming and stole all of my belongings – car keys, wallet, jewelry, dobb kit… I was also told not long before I was robbed someone had come off the street clipped all of the locks, stole peoples keys, and 4 to 5 cars were stolen out of the parking lot that day. Too bad they don't enforce any kind of security here...”

“I got a 2 week trial so that I could test this place out. It is huge, and has a lot to offer. I only did the swimming pool area. The pool water is very cold. I would have liked it to have been warmer. The water slide is really fun. The hanging rope will eat away at your hands. I didn't try it, but my niece did and she got some blisters from it. The lazy river was very enjoyable. The hot tub was nice. I liked how they had the machines to dry your clothes when you are done swimming too. Great facility for families.”

“Love this park, it is close to my place. I enjoy coming to this park from time to time to either go walk, jog, sit at one of the many benches the park provides and enjoy eating lunch or simply read a book under one of the beautiful trees. The park is close to Downtown Covina.The new playground looks fantastic. It is dog friendly, there is plenty of parking space. I do think the restrooms need improvement. I will like to see the city renovate the women's restroom in the future, they definitely need to be upgraded.There are some homeless people that hang around the park but they don' t bother anybody, other than that I enjoy coming to this park.”

“I was visiting a family member in the Hermitage area and they took me to the Y as a guest. Everyone there knows to spray and wipe down their machines before and after use which was nice. Way less chance of getting sick during the Fall and Winter seasons. There was a good variety of exercise equipment and weights to choose from. Locker are is nice and big.”

“best place i’ve been!!!! the butterfly garden was STUNNING amidst the hot texas weather, it was such a beautiful oasis. the waterfall was the star of the place and the water was so refreshing! the rope swing was a huge hit as well! there is SO much camping space with picnic tables at each place. everywhere is a easy walking distance from the water. 10/10 place, i wish i didn’t have to leave!”

“Nice park with 2 playgounds, mini-golf, batting cages, tennis courts, and a splash park. Lots of open fields to kick/throw a ball or toss a frisbee. Splash park is NOT free, your supposed to pay - $3.50 for resident/$5 for non-resident. Parking can be tight, depending on events going on.”
