“Great pool, hot tub and sauna. Has a gym and rock climbing wall too. Bring loonies for the lockers. Can get very busy on weekends or holidays. It's a shame the pool gets closed for entended periods of time for repairs every year.”

“**Anniversary Park in Chestermere: A Serene Escape Just Outside the City 🏞️** Escaping the hustle and bustle of urban life, even if only for a day, can be an incredibly refreshing experience. Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Anniversary Park, more commonly known to locals as Chestermere Beach, and it was a day well spent. **Waters that Welcome 🌊** While the beach was teeming with visitors, it did nothing to detract from the beauty and allure of the place. The water, a gentle contrast of pleasant coolness against the summer sun, provided the perfect setting for both relaxation and play. There’s something invigorating about dipping into slightly cold waters, and Chestermere Beach delivered just that. **Rain: An Unexpected Guest 🌧️** Of course, Mother Nature has her plans, and our day was punctuated by a surprise rain shower. Yet, rather than dampening spirits, it added a touch of whimsy to the outing. There's an undeniable charm in watching raindrops dance upon the water's surface and feeling those cool droplets amidst the warmth. **Facilities: Thoughtfully Provided 🚿** One of the commendable aspects of Chestermere Beach is its facilities. Having access to washrooms, especially during day-long outings, is a boon. The added provision of an outdoor shower space is a thoughtful touch, allowing visitors to rinse off the lake water and sand before heading back home or to their next destination. **Cleanliness: A Personal Perspective 🌺** While some might have voiced concerns about the beach's cleanliness, my experience stood in stark contrast. The sands beneath my feet felt clean, and the waters were clear, devoid of any noticeable debris. It’s essential to approach such places with an open mind and understand that experiences can vary. **Conclusion 🏖️** Anniversary Park or Chestermere Beach is more than just a beach; it’s a slice of serenity, a haven for those looking to bask in nature's beauty. Whether you're sunbathing on the shores, wading in the waters, or simply soaking in the sights and sounds, it promises a day of rejuvenation. While occasional rain might play spoilsport, the memories crafted on such shores remain sunny and warm, beckoning you for yet another visit.”

Cranston Residents Association At Century Hall

Open until 09:00 PM

11 Cranarch Rd SE, Calgary, AB T3M 0S8, Canada

“Staff lacks appropriate professionalism and work ethics. I borrowed a tool from their tool library back in April 2023 and returned it by the due date. A few days later I realized I was charged a late fee. I called them and visited in-person to address this and was told someone would take care of it. However, half a year later I found it was not addressed and there is a fee on my account. I'm not sure if it's a mistake they're unwilling to address/investigate or just a strategy to get more "revenue". Given how Cranston ranks as a neighbourhood in Calgary, the level of service offered by their staff is not up to the test. Thumbs down for this, Cranston RA”

“I went to the gym and really enjoyed it. Very spacious and clean, with modern equipments. Afterwards, I went to the hot tub and it was bad. Just felt like a warm pool. Jets are very weak and the water was not hot enough for a hot tub. Besides that, there’s no life guard on duty and no pool activities. Then, I went to the steamroom which was cold (30 degrees celsius according to the thermometer). I was in there for 10 minutes waiting for more steam and it didnt go past 35 degrees. Plus, it is extremely bright (too many lights) which makes it hard to relax inside. When I tried to shower, all 4 showers in the female change room were extremely cold. I could not shower, as it was negative temperatures outside I did not want to have a cold shower - I was going to walk 35 minutes home and be cold during the process. This centre seems to be the only gym and pool with public access in Banff, and they charge $80 + tax for a month membership which is extremely expensive considering most people in Banff work entry level minumum wage jobs. Unfortunately, I’ll have to keep going to this centre as there is nowhere else for locals to go to the gym in Banff. Unless you work at a place with a gym that allows workers to use it, which is not always the case.”

“After having visited all of the other pool locations in Calgary's Northwest this morning, I stopped in in hopes that the steam room was working. That was over 45 minutes in the car attempting to spend money. When I was told that the steam room was not working at shoulder dice, I asked the staff member if I could use the change room to get ready for work as that was my intention after I went to the pool. The staff member looked at me, gave it a second of thought, and replied no you can get changed in the staff bathroom. I am now heading to work unshowered and unsteamed.”
