It is located in a desolate area of Harrisburg, but there was no drama and no issues of parking. My rims were not taken. Lol. Prices were fantastic, in my opinion. 4 tacos (of different meats) I favored the Mexican sausage!!🤤. My lady friend had the qeusadilla. 2 sodas as well. $21.”

“I gotten the beef tongue tacos that was $12 for 3 pieces. Typical price for these are $10-12 so price is good. Tacos came with cactus, cilantro, onions, lime. There was No Avocado, no Grilled jalapeño which disappointed me. It felt like they were holding out on those ingredients to save money. The positive: the tacos had good portion of meat. Taste: 8/10 Customer service: 9/10 Wait time was long but they were busy that day.”

“Stopped by for lunch today and have to say it is truly a gem. It might not look like much from the outside but it is quaint inside and the service was great. I tried the guanabana passionfruit juice and it was absolutely delightful. I also had the al pastor burrito and it did not disappoint. Definitely one of the best burritos I've had in Pennsylvania. “Had a great first time experience here this afternoon. Really cool atmosphere inside; this is the perfect spot for a friends gathering or casual date. The music playlist was awesome! Drink menu had a great selection to choose from. My husband and I both had margarita-like cocktails and shared chips and guacamole and wings to start, all fantastic. We then shared a spread of different tacos. All were delicious except the fried avocado one—strange flavor profile there with the toppings. Dessert was also scrumptious with an exceptionally good espresso martini, generous chocolate cake and tres leches slice. Our server Morgan was amazing. She was so much fun, down to earth, and very attentive. With that being said, part of the reason I’ve deducted a star is because I’ve truly never seen an overall waitstaff look so unkempt and sloppy. The hostess and most of the servers were teenagers who literally looked like they just rolled out of bed—messy hair, dirty sneakers, ill fitting yoga pants and sweats, oversized hoodies. Casual comfort is fine, especially working on your feet all day, but truth be told their appearance crossed the line into what I would describe as slovenly. As we walked out, my husband whispered to me “Is that hostess really wearing slippers??” (Yes, she was) The other factor for the star deduction is yet another restaurant falling victim to the trend of supplying guests with industrial style seating. I understand going for a certain look but sheet metal benches are incredibly uncomfortable. More comfortable seating and a more professional and presentable looking waitstaff would’ve elevated my experience to a full 5 stars.”

Ordered Chorizo, Steak, al pastor tacos, chips and guac. Didn't get chorizo tacos though, got carnitas instead, which wasn't bad, but lacking flavor. The steak taco was flavorless and the al pastor was some of the most tasteless, driest I've ever had. The guac wasn't fresh at all. The theme here is things seem to be prepared, refrigerated, reheated, or at least that's how they taste. There's many other great Mexican restaurants, I wouldn't waste my time with this one.”

“It took me a very long time to find a good quality taco in my last town. When I finally did, that taco was being served out of a humble truck parked in front of a dingy gas station where down-on-their luck folks would linger and pick cigarette butts out of trash cans. Took about 30 mins to drive there, and I was happy to do it. Now, having just moved to Point Breeze, I find Philly Tacos at an unreasonably convenient 400 feet from my door. It's adorably decorated with happy-looking plants and a fun luchador mask collection hanging on the cheery azure walls. Sadly, I didn't have the opportunity to dine in this time around, but it seems like a nice family-run environment. I had no complaints about the quick & friendly service. Most importantly, they're serving up a damn fine al pastor taco packed with fresh & flavorful ingredients. Loved it! -+-+-+-+- Update: Upping my original review from 4 to 5 stars for two reasons. One — the owner Carlos helped me out of a bind tonight, showing genuine neighborly kindness and hospitality. Two — I tried the pure creamy crunchy sugar cinnamon indulgence that is their churro. I would give this taco joint 6 stars if I could.”
