“Wow, can’t say enough about how kind and welcoming the staff at La Chingona were! They truly make you feel at home, I’ve never had service like this at any restaurant before - they even gave us free drinks just for visiting from far away! On top of this, the food was delicious and sizable portions for the price - especially the tacos which were loaded with meat. They put so much care into everything they serve, even the aguas frescas which were housemade (best horchata i’ve had hands down). On top of all this, the decor is beautiful. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Seattle area looking to eat delicious Mexican food!”

“This place is killer. My wife and I love oysters, but this place is on a different level. It’s like the west coast version of what you’d expect in P.E.I. The staff are friendly and the oysters are a must. Including the grilled oysters (numerous flavours, my favourite was blue cheese). They also have beer on tap and some really nice wines. “Didn’t write such a good review when I came here last around 3 years ago. Times have changed - and so does my review. Customer service was great, and everyone there was so helpful. The authenticity of their food - and the mom & pop vibes, that alone will make me a lifelong customer. Homemade corn tortillas made in-front of you, and a salsa bar with a variety of condiments. “I had only one drink and it was good. The food was good, kinda pricey at $10 a taco. Steak taco was seasoned well and very flavorful however meat was chewy and kinda hard to eat. Had a salad with all this and nuts on the salad were stale and old, ruined the salad. Overall it was good, there's some flavor there but with prices it's ok.”

The tortillas were kinda cold, not sure why but wasn’t worth getting upset with the waitress over. The waitress, was WONDERFUL, super friendly! She was dope. To top it off we got the hot chocolate and churros that was a $5 special, kids kept beg’n for, and I’m sooooo glad we got it bc daaaamn it was soooo yummy. The hot chocolate was made with fresh Hispanic chocolate. So good!”

No onion, tomatoes, cilantro or anything to make it "super", these were fries with meat, cheese, and a scoop of guacamole. The quesadilla hardly had any meat in it at all, absolutely not worth the price. Also if you like hot sauce seek yours elsewhere, the "hottest" doesn't even compete with Diablo sauce from Taco bell.”

So many of our guests have told us multiple times that the tacos at our wedding were the best they've ever had. Adrian was such a pleasure to work and plan with. The buffet table was set up to match the elegance of our event. Everything was perfect! We still go to Taqueria Puebla frequently! I strongly suggest using Taqueria Puebla (Red Cork Bistro & Catering) as the caterer for your event. And at the very least go in to enjoy their DELICIOUS tacos!”

“The table we were seated at was so dark we could neither see the menu nor our food. The waiters commented on how dark it was jokingly and gave us an additional small candle to view the menu. Why would we be seated here knowing it was incredibly dark? 😂 I couldn’t see the food when it was brought out to us. I used my phone camera light to see what I was eating. The ceviche and pork shank were meh. Shrimp did not taste fresh and pork shark had a lot of fat on it, flavors were not sitting right. The waiters were kind, but being that the place was nearly empty I still found it out to be seated in a dark corner when many other tables were better lit and open. Odd experience overall.”
