“This was my first visit to Luna Sea and I ordered the Halibut fish and chips. Unfortunately, the fish was tough and overcooked. The fries were good, though. But the Cole slaw was awful and the tartar and cocktail sauces were not good. The tartar was bland and the cocktail had no zing, it desperately needed horseradish! The server was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was cute and quirky. But their food will not draw me back for a second visit.”

“So we ate here and they were pretty busy but got us right in and out food came quickly. We left and about 15 minutes later we went back in and asked if we could use the restroom. If you have never been here the restroom is in the common area and you have to ask for the key, it's for customers only. I went in and asked if I could use the facilities and she looked at me like it was an extreme hardship to talk to me and says someones in there. As she points to the box with 2 keys in it, one for each of the the two bathrooms. I said I had been a customer 15 minutes prior and she says to me, "No." So food was great, waitress was nice, but cashier could of been nicer.”

I would come here every Wednesday (hint, hint) when every other restaurant in Portland is closed if you were open!!! I feel like I have to rate it three stars though because the hours suck. How can you pay rent for 168 hours of the week and then only be open for 20 of those hours!!!!!! It doesn't pencil! And it makes it hard for me to make it there. Also, please don't just be a Portland sucker and close at 10. Stay open til 11! I can barely get to the bar by 9, which makes 10 impossible. Last thing....you have seating. Change your license and allow kids. You're not open bar hours, you're open restaurant hours. I'd be here a lot feeding my kids queso and drinking margaritas.”

“The wait was very long for a walk up window. Ordered a slider a quesadila and a taco. The taco was beef and had some great flavors, but it was a bit cold. The slider, pork, was also good and also not warm enough for my liking. The quesadila was the best, it was hot, tasty, and hit the spot on cold day. The quesadila was packaged in a small paper box and the end result was a pretty big mess, however. This type of food lends itself to more of a dine in experience in my opinion. The to go scenario is a bit of a challenge due to temps and keeping the food together. 4 stars for great flavors.”
