“Exactly what we were looking for, a local cocktail bar with a great atmosphere. On the street corner, spilling out into the road, stylishly designed and awesome cocktails. We've been looking for a basil cocktail for ages and the Point Vert didn't disappoint. The bar staff were super professional, talented and quick. It's not a touristy place but we felt accepted like the locals. Great cocktail selection and reasonably priced at €10. Gonna go back during happy hour 7pm to 9pm and try some other cocktails! Can't wait”

Apart from that, one thing which was annoying for the night was one of the waitresses was making "chuuut" to all the tables because people are talking loudly. Well... “What a great place! Great location! Excellent staff!! Went twice. Once with colleagues after work and on my own for dinner one evening. On the first visit we sat indoors and while is was a very warm (early) evening --- it did not prevent us from enjoying ourselves. On the second visit I sat outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed the overall ambiance! I sat peacefully for several hours and thoroughly enjoyed watching (and interacting with) the people coming and going. The food (lovely small portions) and the beverage selection were excellent! This is definitely one of my new favorites in Clermont-Ferrand.”

This place is a must try if you want to explore French bistro culture and the dishes are very innovative, the wine menu has a great selection as well. Obviously the menu changes a lot so try different dishes.”
