La Picara Manila

2nd Floor, One Bonifacio High Street Mall High Street, corner, 5th Ave, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines

“The servers were courteous and friendly, which made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. We ordered the beef cheeks and it was simply amazing! The meat was so tender and melted in my mouth. The gravy was creamy and complemented the dish perfectly. However, the taco sisig was just so-so. It didn't quite meet my expectations. My friend and I also tried the Paella Negra, but unfortunately, we were not a huge fan of it. It was too salty for our liking. Despite that, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its great ambiance and delicious beef cheeks!”

“Had a great time here. Wine selection was good and the staff was knowledgeable and made the suggestions based on our taste preferences. The presentation of the jamon and the explanation of each flavor and region was very interesting and added to the experience. The bread appetizers were so good.”

MXX6+2VH, Paseo Verde, Lacson St, Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines

“My first time at Quedan was pre-pandemic, and was happy to see it was still around on this last visit to Bacolod. The vibe is still hip and the drinks are still good, while being reasonable priced. Try their Quedan G&T, which combines native ingredients like sugarcane with the classic gin & tonic. This time, also got the chance to grab dinner here. The pumpkin soup as a starter was good, but needed a bit more flavor. The tuna tataki was the standout dish, made with fresh-tasting fish that was seared perfectly on the outside. The chimichurri steak frites was the disappointment - we asked for medium rare and it came back medium well to well done. The server apologized, but damage was done. Would still come back.”
