“Have been to both branches (Fossgate and Goodramgate) twice, I would definitely recommend going to Fossgate rather than this branch. First time at this branch, the paella was so undercooked. And the second time, the jamon iberico was SOOOO badly cut and the portion of it was so much tinier than the other branch. And the calamari was soggy and not fresh at all.. and so much more…Where’s the quality control? Will never come back to this branch again, it’s very disappointing for a Spanish food lover, no wonder the other branch is always fully booked. Service was ok tho!”

“Local Spanish tapas restaurant with a lively atmosphere and vibe. They have very interesting specialty cocktails, some completely unique, some gives a twist to the classics. Food was the highlight. Rustic dishes, nothing flashy or over the top in presentation, but flavours were excellent. Garlic prawns were our favourite of the night. Meatballs were also delicious, tender and slightly pink in the middle, and perfectly seasoned. Padron Peppers were always good, and refreshingly light. The only slight disappointment was the octopus. Now, it was still very good and delicious, but it was just slightly overcooked.”

“Second time at this place, we came here for dinner. The place is nicely decorated and reminds you of Spain. As we came on a Saturday night, the place was fairly busy and a little bit noisy (but less than other places in the city). The staff was either neutral or nice. The experience could be much better if it wasn't for the food, which is what you crave for when dining out. We ordered seafood paella, croquetas, shrimps, patatas bravas and a vegetable tapas with mushrooms. Everything was decent/ok, the paella had zero taste. I also tried the seafood alone and it actually tasted bad. Maybe it was just a busy night, but they could definitely do a better job.”

We found this gem by googling local restaurants on a day out. Really glad we did and we will certainly visit again if we are in the area. It's Turkish/Bulgarian/Mediterranean cuisine. The tapas was delicious with some proprietary dishes. The squid was some of the best I've ever eaten (calamari - not at all chewy, melt in the mouth yumminess). The baklava, as recommended by our waiter, was to die for. The cakes in the cupboard looked amazing. I had the Belgian fudge cake and it was as good as it looked. The decor was great, with some.nice art on sale... even the toilets were well presented and the hand driers effective. 10/10!!!”

If you don't have a lot of experience with Nigerian food their menu gives great detail, including a QR code you can scan to see pictures and read further about the dishes.
