“Great gastronomic experience!! Space for good cuisine and a well-chosen wine cellar. We had dinner at the bar (comfortable and friendly). We allowed ourselves to be advised and enjoyed it very much. You need to go there more times to try everything!! Everything we ate was very good. From the menu: duck croquettes...memorable!!! Off the menu: squid tattar with kimchi and carabiner with tripe juice... stunning!!!!! Well-chosen wines by the glass. Price per person: €50. Need to repeat!!!”

“The ambiance is clean and crisp, clean starched white table cloth, good crockery and cutlery. The service is friendly and helpful. The gentleman even helped take care of the baby of the couple on the next table so they could eat without interruption, first I've ever seen this! For us, they provided a change of plates, when we asked, in between dishes. We ordered a set menu, which came with a number of taster dishes followed by a main course, dessert and coffee. While on the expensive side, the food portions were generous and tasty. The tasters are just the right amount to make you feel good but leaving you looking forward to what comes next. The dishes follow on one to the next, which is nice but if they wanted they could slow this down just slightly. Overall, while the food is tasty and well balanced, perhaps the use of oil is a bit too generous. For mains, I had the sea bass and Carles had the turbot, both were well cooked and came with the same assortment of side vegetables, a good balance. The turbot was baked and better than the bass, which needed a bit more cooking to crisp the skin A generous selection of desserts, i had Tiramisu and Carles had lioneses. Both were nice. The coffee was strong and a perfect finish to a good meal.”

The only parts for improvement could be 1) an earlier reminder of the traffic jam due to 3 king parade (taking us 30min to walk around it) and 2) maybe some small celebrations of special date (as we put down this as a bday celebration).”

“We were recommended to Berbena by a friend and it did not disappoint! If you can make a reservation as seating is limited. We showed up early for the lunch seating to get on the waitlist and luckily a party had to cancel. As the restaurant doesn’t hold many people it creates a very intimate atmosphere. We loved the open kitchen and seeing the food prep. The staff were lovely! They were so personable and really took interest and invested in each party. Anything we were unsure about they were there with a stellar recommendation. Now to the food 🤤 EVERYTHING we ate was PHENOMENAL! I think we sampled the entire menu and there wasn’t one thing we didn’t like. Every bite was *chefs kiss*! The flavors, the portions, even the timing of the dishes were top notch. We can’t say enough about how truly amazing this restaurant is from top to bottom in every aspect. We will definitely be back!”

“Prices were a bit ridiculous. I left with a bad taste in my mouth over their bread as silly as it sounds. Not only did it taste stale, but every time I ordered bread, we were apparently given a "double" order. I didn't know this and ordered bread two more times considering the lack of carbs on the menu and then was charged for 6 orders. The amount of bread we received for "6" orders is criminal. I'm not sure if they were just taking advantage of foreignors or not. We ordered three main dishes. Unhappy with one, but that was a mistake in ordering a dish we were unfamiliar with. Others were quite good, but portions were small given the exuberant pricing, hence our "6" orders of bread.”

“So first of all it’s better if you can speak a bit of Spanish BUT they have an English menu and some of the staff speak enough English. So don’t be put off if you don’t speak Spanish. Really friendly staff, excellent service. We had the Minius white wine which was very good. Beef carpaccio was particularly good. It is a moderately priced restaurant with a good friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.”
