“ITS A HIKE. Not exactly a kid friendly one either. My 3 year old had trouble going down, and was carried back up. In my opinion, you can't see the waterfall very well from where the stairs end. You have to make your way down to get the full experience. Once you do get there though, it's amazing. The tide pools had shrimp, fish, crabs and starfish. The water felt cold towards the waterfall. There were a lot of people fishing as well. There is a spot near the cliff where you can take a great photo of the ocean and tide pools. You can also see an old dam and the new one they built. The parking area is not paved or marked. It is a gravelled are. There also aren't any restrooms or picnic tables, so be prepared to bring trash bags and food/water with you.”

“It’s a nicely maintained park. Weekdays are pretty quiet, so I usually take a walk listening to music or podcast. However, weekends are a lot more livelier.. many families with kids. Some even bring tarps and shades. Very pretty during sakura season.”

“Someone had marked this place as closed. But it is not closed! Great outdoor hot springs! There are four baths, each one slightly colder than the other. Temperature is great! Walking there from the bus is a bit of a hike, but the views are great! There is a changing room for women, but local men go in naked. Not sure about the women. The place is free and is apparently maintained by volunteers, so do keep it clean! Also keep it quiet! No yelling or talking loudly! A lot of Japanese don't like foreigners because they are loud.”

“This place is good. It is difficult to enter the road before entering the hot spring facility. The parking lot is big. The resting place of the hot spring facility is large. Drinks were on sale. The price is reasonable. There are several types of hot springs and you can enjoy them. The quality of the hot springs was wonderful and the skin became beautiful.”

“The price is reasonable, but it's great that the hot springs are free. I won't be able to take a bath in the morning due to the bathing time, but since you can get a discount on the Manten Hoshi no Yu, it might be a good idea to go straight after checking out. Is it a negative thing that the manager is often away? There is no supermarket nearby, but there is a convenience store where you can buy small items. It seems that you can also fish, so I would like to do that next time.”

“Good camping site. It’s a huge place with an amazing viewpoint. There is a lounge room open 24hs, there is free wifi and hot coin shower ¥200 for 30 minutes. Also bbq site for additional cost Grass to set up the tent is ok. Cost is 1400 per person. Toilets are clean. If you arrive at night it could be a little confusing where to set up the tent. My advice is get before it gets dark. Some areas are now under maintenance so there are workers during the morning.”
