Silk Tea Bar

26A Sago St, Singapore 059021

“Don’t come here. Go to Daydreamer Tea Clan next door where they are incredibly nice and attentive. Not only is the woman who works here unwilling to share knowledge but actively rude, refusing to answer questions about the teas and walking away from our table rolling her eyes. For the price (very steep) you expect to be at least treated respectfully but she ruined an expensive experience that we were very excited for with her frigidity and condescension.”

“After eating, the kids wanted something sweet... finally tried bubble tea, which has branches spread all over Singapore... the taste of the drink is quite good… in my opinion the bubble milk tea is quite okay… yes in my opinion now for milk tea all brands are almost the same… what determines more in my opinion is the boba or bubble character… but for the lychee rose jing syuan is delicious... I ordered the less sugar one... the sweet mix is still quite sweet in my opinion... there is a boba jelly topping I like it too...”

Chicha San Chen @ Gem

50 Jurong Gateway Rd, #01 - 17 Jem, Singapore 608549

“Tried the new released seasonal Hoho buzz tea. Dong Ding Oolong Tea with fresh milk instead of the oat milk tea. Had 50% honey which the sweetness is just nice. The honey taste is quite original, as with the flowery sweetness in it. Staff is quite patient in answering a few questions. Cannot redeem with points for this drink.”

Tea Lounge

1 Cuscaden Rd, Lobby Level, Singapore 249715

“This is my second afternoon high tea at Tea Lounge. The first time was during Christmas period last year. When I reached today, I was so happy to see that the laksa and seafood porridge that I remembered so fondly last time were still present. They are signature items and you have to try them! As you can see from the videos and pictures, the spread is very wide, from scones and quiche, to cheeses and salads, as well as plenty of desserts. Eating this covered both lunch and dinner for me (both times) because I was so full. The high tea comes with two drinks and their selection of Gryphon teas are simply exquisite. I highly recommend the lychee rose and fruit symphony. For me, service is just as important as the food. The staff here were all very sharp, alert and attentive to customers’ needs. If you are looking for a place for high tea, I would highly recommend this place.”
