“This is our favorite restaurant in Harrisburg. We come here at least once a month and we are a family of 3. We get the 2 Thai iced tea, Tom Yum soup, an appetizer, 3 entrees, and sometimes dessert. We spend more than $100 and look forward to this place. I always get Penang chicken. This is best Penang I've tasted since I moved from Alexandria, VA at Rabieng restaurant in Falls Church, VA. It does have a lot of oil, but chicken was so good and not dry like at other restaurants. I had enough to take home and eat a huge lunch for the next day. My husband liked his ground chicken dish. Forgot the name. The pad Thai was ok. It didn't seem like a very large portion though. We used to go to the Thai restaurant in Hershey, Sawsadee, but we'll come here from now on. My mouth is just watering looking at my photos, dang...”

“I’ve came to Thai Tamarind several times for dinner every time was absolutely amazing. The Hot Thai Chicken Wings are always cooked to perfection and the Combination Pad Thai is my favorite in the Pittsburgh area. The lunch special is awesome as well. I started with Wonton Soup and Crab Rangoon. The Wonton Soup was full of fresh vegetables and three nice size wontons. Of course I got the Combination Pad Thai it came with your choice of soup or salad and a spring roll. Pleasant atmosphere the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back!!”

The Blue Elephant Pottstown

152 E High St, Pottstown, PA 19464, United States

“This place is absolutely breathtaking! It is so classy and beautifully decorated. I was blown away by how gorgeous this place was. The staff were attentive and super helpful which was appreciated. The drinks were so refreshing and well done. I had ordered the wings which were a Korean sticky fried wing; it was very flavorful and crisp and the sauce was sticky, sweet with a hint of spice and acid to balance it out. The sauce was wonderful but I wish there was more of it as I found the wing to be a little on the dryer side. I had also ordered a side of fried rice which I thought for an establishment of this caliber would have a more flavorful dish but quite honestly I’ve had local Chinese takeout that was more flavorful than this. My sisters had the pad Thai which I thought was good, not great. The sauce needed to be more flavorful, I couldn’t taste anything. But the noodles were cooked well and the protein was cooked to perfection. Overall, I would highly recommend coming for the ambiance and the beautiful decor. It is definitely not authentic Asian cuisine but it’s interesting to see unique adaptations to beloved dishes with some hitting the mark more than others.”

Thai & Sushi House In Kamra

“I have lived in the State College area for a decade now. I was told about Kamrai 8 years ago and it never worked out that I gotten the chance to dine there. This past Saturday I finally had the chance to eat there and I now I wish I would have made it a point to have eaten there years ago. We arrived a little after they opened and were the second couple to be seated. We were sat in the section which once was the porch of this beautiful old home. AlthoughI found it hard to read the menu in the dim light, I loved the atmosphere with the piano music playing in the background. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and our server was on top of it all for us. To start it off my wife and I had Sushi. My wife had the Dragon Roll and I decided on the Sex on The Moon Roll. While they both were delicious I enjoyed the Dragon Roll more. For the entree my wife had the Pad Thai and I had the Spicy Basil Yaki Udon. Now I didnt try the Pad Thai but my wife loved it. I must say that the Spicy Basil Yaki Udon was amazing. I got it with a medium heat and it was top notch. I generally like to try different foods so that I know I am not missing anything but when I go back Im thinking Ill have this again. We had a wonderful time on a little date during the Christmas season. Give this place a try. Just watch out for the days and times they are open. they are opene a limited days and hours.”

“Unfortunately, they were doing the roof (not the restaurants fault ) and made parking terrible. The food was awesome. I jumped on the bandwagon and got the 🧨 chicken. It was good. Please note it is not saucy. I got the #7 level, and it reminded me of a version of good Nashville hot chicken (that is hot)”

Angkor - Cambodian Thai Cuisine

2350 Noblestown Rd # 18, Pittsburgh, PA 15205, United States

“While visiting Pittsburgh on a chilly, rainy evening, we were looking for a warm and hearty meal to "hit the spot." We read the overwhelmingly positive reviews for Angkor, a traditional Cambodian/Thai restaurant, so we were convinced to check it out. We were met at the door by an energetic and friendly young gentlemen. There were 3 groups already seated at tables and people kept on trickling in throughout the evening which indicated to us that this was quite a popular place among locals. Service was a bit slow but we figured this more than acceptable given the delicious food that followed. For starters, we ordered the Na-taings, which are Cambodian deep fried puff rice squares which have more than enough surface area to pile on the curried pork concoction that came with the appetizer. Although we were tempted to order the Thai options on the menu, we opted to share a Cambodian dish called Saramann, which is slow cooked beef in a coconut, peanut and lemon grass curry. We were asked about our heat level preference and chose a 7 on a 10 point scale. The succulent beef cubes were so tender and the curry was flavourful, had a rich, earthy, peanut taste and was exactly the right spice we were looking for to warm up from outside and have our mouths breathing fire like dragons. Of course, we got exactly what we asked for and enjoyed every minute of the heat. We got an order of the Thai red ice tea to cool off our mouths. It was absolutely delicious and apparently a bit sweeter than the green Thai ice tea option. We'd highly recommend trying Angkor if you're looking for something unique, traditional, flavourful and spicy. If the Cambodian food is any indication of how the Thai food is, you'll surely be in for a treat if you choose either.”

“We have not been here in a few years and it was very much like we remembered. The service is friendly, food is good - like a homemade Thai meal. The place is clean and decor is just right. My calamari appetizer was tasty with the sweet chili sauce, and served in a decorative boat. Our food order was served hot and smelled so good, comforting even before the first taste!”

“Wow YUMMY! That a pleasant experience finding this restaurant was in Horsham. A breath of fresh air. The Thai food here can compete in the New York Thai scene. That's how good it is. I always judge a Thai restaurant by how good their pad Thai sauce is. Rice and curry did not disappoint. I came here with one friend and was seated promptly. We ordered the chicken Pad Thai, Thai ice tea, honey lemon tea (worth the extra $1), Pineapple Fried Rice, and the delicious mango sticky rice. Wow. Not a single dish disappointed. My only concern with this restaurant is it's $$$. The bill came to around $30 a person. I hope they reduce the price if inflation decreases. I'd love to come back and try some other dishes.”
