“Located in the university district of Belfast. Small family-owned restaurant offering authentic and fresh Thai food for a reasonable price. Parking can be sketchy, and no alcohol is served, but you are welcome to bring your own wine/beer, which almost everyone does. We were here in a Wednesday night and it was PACKED, so reservations are a MUST. If noisy and crowded outweigh the quality of the meal for you then this is not your place. But despite being both of the above, it is a great place to enjoy very good Thai food in Belfast.”

“Was here for a work-related group meal in Nov '23 and while there were a lot of people the service was really prompt, friendly and most importantly the food was excellent. The starter and dessert were very nice but my steak was perfect, genuinely one of the best I've ever had. Would hope to go again when visiting Belfast in the future.”

“Had a flavorful evening at Golden Elephant, a Thai gem in Belfast. Loved the food overall - Tom Yum Seafood was an explosion of flavors, and the Chicken Cashew Nut was spot on. The Duck Sweet and Sour was nice, though a bit overly seasoned and salty for my liking. We also had the Black Sticky Rice Pudding for dessert and it was SO GOOD, a perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Couldn't finish everything because we were so full, but the cozy home-like atmosphere made it even better. If you're up for delicious Thai food and a warm vibe, give Golden Elephant a visit!”

“Decent Cantonese restaurant and probably the most established one in the area. Not many choices for 3 course lunch sets but the chow mein (stir fried noodles) pairing with spicy beef is very nice and definitely worth going for. Nice decor, affordable prices and friendly staff certainly helped the dining experience. Worth visiting if you are in the area.”
