“I do not recommend this place at all. I am a mechanic and own my own business. Today, I had a customer of mine call me and ask me if I could take the lug nuts off of his daughters tires. He bought brand new tires and rims for her for Christmas. Discount Tire had his daughters car in the shop and was actively working on it for 2 and a half to 3 hours. They mounted the tires on the new rims and balanced them but were not able to get the lug nuts off of the old rims and tires to install the new ones. They said they were rusted and not able to remove them. So my customer called me. The car was dropped off at my shop, and the first thing I asked was where the lug nut key was. Discount Tire failed to return the customers' property to them. I had to go to Discount Tire to pick the key up. So when I got to my shop, it took me a grand total of 4 minutes and 21 seconds to remove all the lug nuts. Why do they say they are a tire shop if they can not do a simple thing like remove the lug nuts off of a tire? I am in no way trying to promote my business at all. What I am saying is it only took a breaker bar and one hand for me to remove all the lug nuts. Now, if all of that is not bad enough, they also failed to give me the brand new set of lug nuts that went with the new rims when I went to pick up the lug key. So now I have to go back and pick that up as well. The one thing I am going to say is that the manager does not like installing tires that were not purchased from them. The following morning, I went back and asked about the lug nuts that my customer had purchased, which were specific for the rims that he had bought and asked them to do. The manager, whom I was dealing with, said he would look for them and then came back and told me that they threw them away. He said they thought that they were the old ones. I said, "How could they be the old ones since they could not remove the lug nuts?" Imagine a tire shop that can not remove the lug nuts, mind-blowing. He did hand me a new set that did not match the rims or the car, for that matter. So now my customer has on lug nuts that do not match the rims, and it looks tacky. After all the money that was spent by my customer on the rims and tires, I think it is unacceptable. What a wonderful Christmas gift. I will never visit this place again.”

“Made an early (930a) appointment to get tires replaced, they initially said that it would take 2hrs give or take, they came out and approached us and changed it to 45min to an hour "guaranteed" since we had an appointment. After an hour and fifteen we checked in and let them know we'd like a real honest estimate and the advisor proceeded to tell us "definitely within the next 30mins" We left right under 2.5hrs. I always kick myself when I don't go to a small business for auto and tire repairs and this is no exception. Next time I'll pay the extra fifty ish dollars for good service.”

“This has usually been my go to place for tires. But I've had two problems come up in the last couple of visits to maybe re-think my business for tires. I brought my car in for service on a slow leak in one of my tires. The service person claimed no leaks were found and I needed a new battery. A new battery installed and a couple of days went by my tire was flat. I brought the car back, low and behold they finally found a nail in the tire. A day later I brought the car to the store, wouldn't start. The battery terminals had been installed loose and they were off. I had no tools so I was stuck. Whats going on at Les Schwab?”

I called Rodriquez to ask if they fixed flats and he said for $10. I got there, and he fixed my flat right away. I am thankful because I was not comfortable driving with the spare tire on.”

“I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences with discount tire at other locations! Unfortunately, I didn’t have that same experience here. There **WERE** incredibly friendly to customers—love that!! But… I went in to get my tires rotated and have them checked for leaks as I had issues with one of the tires getting low every 2 weeks. They told me it was probably nothing to worry about, because changes in weather can cause that (I was already aware of that); however the weather doesn’t change that drastically in just two weeks time (and this had been happening for months). They didn’t find anything wrong with them. A week later, I had a low tire again. Brought the car in. They brushed me off a bit again and said that it’s probably just because my tires were nearing the end of their life and said they were at 5/32 which is at the line of their suggestion for new tires (didn’t inform me of that the first time I came in). I told them I want them checked anyways. And sure enough they found metal inside my tire that they missed the last time. And while only a small thing, they didn’t replace the nozzle cap. Which doesn’t show very good attention to detail or high quality service. I have to travel a ways to actually get there—not a convenient trip so it’s unfortunate I had to sacrifice that time and miles on my car for a mistake they made. It could just be a one-off thing, and from experiences with other discount tires, I’m sure they’ll eventually crack down and get that excellence back. Gave 3 stars instead of 2 only because of my positive experiences with other locations.”

“Really disappointing experience with Service department. Other than a video showing a walkaround before any of the issues had been addressed, there was no contact for two full weeks. They did not respond to the text I sent after receiving the video. I called them after two weeks and was told they'd damaged my vehicle. They assured me that they'd repair it "at no cost to you"(!) Accidents happen and I do not appreciate the way they kind of "hid" by not communicating with me until I called them. They verified one of the issues I brought my vehicle in for and did not contact me about it, instead simply writing on the printout that it is not covered by warranty (and the Service department was closed when I picked up my car). Surely they could have called me to ask if I wanted to pay for the repair? They requested my feedback two weeks ago and have not followed up on any of the above. In the meantime, another Porsche service center repaired the same issue for free.”

“After using Big O Tires for all my tire needs for my entire adult life, that has ended in 2023. In one day I had Big O do two tires and an alignment on one of my vehicles and do an alignment and a tire rotation on a separate vehicle. In both cases, the technician (Joseph Smith) left greasy fingerprints in my vehicle. In one vehicle, they were all over the headliner, and in the second vehicle on the center console. I had to bring both vehicles back separately to get them cleaned, but my headliner is still stained from this. There was an opportunity here to keep my business by offering something in the way of compensation for the time I had to wasted dealing with this (and the remaining stains in my vehicle), but I guess I am expecting too much these days. The great irony of this encounter was the conversation I had at the service counter with the manager about how they would be happy to do my oil changes for me at a reasonable price and it would be so much more convenient for me. No thanks guys, I can work on my own vehicles without smearing grease everywhere. At another appointment I had this year two of the older gentleman at the front desk were talking about more aggressively upselling customers to make them spend more money at the shop. That's probably not a conversation you should have when there are customers sitting in your waiting room... I have found the experience at Discount Tire down the road to be vastly less trouble than this place.”
