“I went in to get them to pull out the plug in wire for block heater, they were the only ones who said ya ya come in and we will do it for you , believe me I called all the places in town and nobody wanted to touch the inside of the car. It took them 45 mins to take it out because of this being a tricky situation but they didn’t charge anything because it wasn’t much of a job. And in no ways did they compromise with the work . Took all the time to ensure the wire is properly hooked up. And they were so nice to me, they even checked my tire pressure without asking. “Would not go back and would not recommend others go here. The wheel weights popped off loading them into the truck, the steel rims are very cheap and deform easy where the lug nut mating surface is. I’ve tried dealing with customer service and have not had any issues resolved, every time I go back there is something new to deal with. The Nokian tires work fine and the staff can be nice people so it’s not all bad.”

“Kal Tire Athabasca has always been my go to tire shop since moving to the area. Typically I’ve always dropped off tires and rims, as I can mount them to the truck myself. Today was the same, but when I arrived to pick up the tires, Ryan mentioned the TPMS needed to be coded to the truck after the new tires got mounted to the truck. As they weren’t super busy today, I figured I would just have it done. Not only was it done faster than I could have anticipated, but fairly priced too! “A month ago - when I initially brought in my car to get my tires rotated - they advised they legally cannot change them as the front ones were bald. Understandable, so I agreed to get to get brand new tires for the front and the other ones to go on the back. They never said the old tires were bad, they actually said they were fine after I asked if they needed to be replaced too. $450 later and everything was good. Besides no one telling me my car was ready to pick up - I had to follow up. About 2 weeks later, I got a flat on the old tire on the back passenger side. (Not their fault, a screw was found) So I had my boyfriend bring it in this morning to get the flat fixed and AGAIN was told that we NEED new tires for the back AND a wheel alignment. But literally a month ago they said they were fine? Doesn't make sense to me but besides the point. Not once was I offered a wheel alignment the first time I brought in my car. My boyfriend asked why it wasn't done a month ago but apparently you have to ask for that now too? Coming from myself who knows nothing really about cars - how on earth am I supposed to know that? I'm giving my trust to the employees to advise on what is exactly needed for my car. I was hesitant to bring my car back here the second time around but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but judging from my boyfriends experience - we will not be returning as well as the front desk employee was extremely rude. It truly feels like it's just all about money to them and that's truly disappointing.”
