“So glad we did this! My husband and I were visiting from DFW and I wanted to find an activity that was unique and came across Lone Star Riverboat tours. Very affordable, even better. Bring your own snacks and drinks, although they did have some canned drinks for sale. Captains DJ and Robert were friendly and humorous. We sat on the top deck but there's an enclosed 1st deck as well, which I imagine is great for colder days. The tour was an hour, left promptly, and returned promptly; great for a tight schedule. Definitely recommend for a different type of excursion in Austin.”

“Park in the public parking on Stockyard Blvd. $10 to park all day. Look for the signs with the QR code to pay by phone. They have a cat walk that you will use to cross over the animal pens and come in behind the museum. Quick walk and you get a chance to see the longhorns chilling below. Accessibility wise, this is NOT the parking if you cannot navigate 5 or 6 stairs to get up to the catwalk. The herd consists of some truly amazing specimens! Those horns are much longer than you'd imagine. They will generally have one or two of them saddled up for photos with the kids for free. Donations and tips are highly recommended!! Help feed the herd!”

“Wonderful time on water and land - worth every penny. Knowledgeable staff, our guide knew so much about the area, and about the DUC-W we rode in. We went at sunset which was perfect, less heat, a beautiful sunset on the water, night time lights turning on around town as we wrapped up the tour.”

“It's a good place to visit. But quiet, not impressive, with the price 25$ for individuals. Normally, kids and young couples may walk with alpacas, not everyone. I prefer that if a whole family visits the place, it's better to revise the fee for who is willing to hold the alpaca and for the rest to free access or to reduce the prize”
