“Found this spot on my visit in Toronto. Place is filled with figures to the ceiling which was wild lol. They also got plushies, keychains and gacha... small cool stuff. The place was small but I spent a good couple hours in there which felt like minutes. The people working there were cool and knew their stuff. Definitely will come back when I pass by Toronto again. Also got a figure of Liv from PGR shipped back to NYC and it arrived safely.”

“This is a wonderful neighbourhood toy store. They have such an excellent selection - and if something isn’t on their shelves, ask, because it may be down in their magic basement of treasures. The owners are always so helpful, and in warmer months, they even serve ice cream. This delightful little shop will be a happy part of many children’s memories.”

“I've never shopped at game stop or bought a steam gift card but my brother in law wanted one for Christmas. I ask for a $25 dollar gift card and the clerk says "we only do 20 or 50 and it shows on your receipt." So I say ok $20 and she hands me the machine and I pay with debit. After I pay she hands me the receipt and that's the gift card. Surely someone who shops there all the time could have read into what she meant by "it shows on your receipt" but I asked for a gift card and only got a reciept for digital credit. A reciept doesn't make for a good Christmas present. This is 2 days before Christmas. I went back, explained and she said they were out of physical gift cards. I asked for a refund; she dug her heels in and said no. I doubt it's the first time she's done this..I felt she knew what she was doing there and just wanted a sale. That's scummy.”

“Updated: Feb.13th.2024 Matthew and the cashier whose name I forgot to grab were very helpful (Updated: Lindsey) They were looking for what seemed like a needle in a hay stack and never gave up. Ended up finding it & were great at communicating in between the long wait. 5 stars for sure! Also, note: Bike assembly costs $5 now (I think it's a fait charge. These guys are already understaffed to begin with) Original Post: MARLENE is a delightful person I just met at this Toy R Us location. Very helpful & very friendly! “Terrible customer service supervisor Catherine D. Tried to return a toy bought a few weeks ago (bought 3, returning only this one because it was defective). Refund needed supervisor authorization, so a customer service rep tried to ping Catherine multiple times, but she refused to show up. After a long wait and 3-4 repeated calls, Catherine finally showed up. She said she couldn't refund because the toy was opened. Then I told her the reason for returning was that the toy was defective and without opening the package and test it, there would be no way to find out it was defective. She then reluctantly said in order to refund, she would need to test it herself to determine it was indeed defective. She then started to read the manual line by line while many customers were waiting behind. After waiting another 15 minutes, she still had not figured out how to test the toy. I explained to her that my small kids were waiting outside to go to lunch and I couldn't wait forever for her to test. I asked her how much longer she needed, she coldly said she didn't know but needed much longer and she couldn't give me a refund until she tested it. I told her I couldn't wait a whole day while my kids were starving. She finally said that she could only give me a gift card because she was not able to test it, in order to refund she needed hours to test it to confirm. I did not want to waste any more time with her, so I took the gift card and left. Catherine D used all the excuses and the tactic of wasting hours to not issue a refund. This is such a terrible and shameful customer service. I will never ever shop at any Toys"R"Us again and will advise all my family and friends to do the same.”
