“Such an amazing team. I love all the trainers. Everyone has such a positive attitude. As someone who struggled with significant weight gain, getting back into weight lifting and being active again was absolutely daunting. But Heather, Roger, and the whole team (Taylor and Brett are amazing as well!) helped me feel so welcome and comfortable getting back into moving and building strength. Nutrition advice is offered but never pushed, which was so important for my mental health on this journey. Changes are slow but happening. Been working out with them for nearly a year now and I genuinely can’t recommend them enough. They can cater to all levels. I started with semi-private (buddy) training to make sure I had a good foundation and now do their 4-person group class. Bonus: their secretary/mascot is cute as hell too 🐶 we all love Tootsie!”

“It is looking more and more as if the franchise owners of the facility don't care about its members. Nor do they care about the cleanliness of the Gym. Equipment is in for service for weeks. Needing repair. The water fountains barely work and produce warm water with very little water pressure. For months one of the fountains always has a red bucket to catch the dripping water. The carpet is old and worn out. In addition the entire carpet is filthy with dirt, water stains everywhere. Looks like it hasn't been steam cleaned or replaced in years. In the morning (5am), the trash cans are full from the night before. The Towelettes are littered throughout the facility and water bottles on the floor. Weights almost always remain un-stacked and the dumbbells are rarely returned to the rack. Many of the barbells are warped or bent. There are many pieces of equipment that need replacement. The pads on certain equipment are torn or cracked. DO BETTER LA FITNESS”

“The staff is pretty unfriendly. The equipment is okay. The 24 hour access is through an app that constantly has issues, and you will receive random emails if someone else checks in behind you. I was charged an additional fee after I canceled my membership because I am moving out of state. When asked about the fee, I was told it is an annual fee. I asked the worker why would I be getting charged an annual fee when I am moving out of state and will not be able to used the gym anyways and he had no answer and simply ignored my question. I would recommend either searching for a better run gym that values the members it has.”

“This gym caters to the weight section and not the cardio section. I’ve tried talking to many people at the gym about how hot the cardio area is, but I’m brushed off or dismissed, either being told there was nothing they could do or it wasn’t as bad as I indicated on the temperature sign. I took a picture tonight (about 8 pm) to show how warm it is. If they could add more fans to the cardio area and cool it off, it would be a lot better. *it is still incredibly hot in there; switching the temperature to Celsius does not make it cooler. I don’t think it’s been below 75 degrees F EVER and it is so uncomfortable to workout in. I continue to go to this gym because it is a good location from my home, and I will continue to take pictures until they cool it off. **”

Coaches are available but nobody tries to sell you coaching lessons. Group lessons look awesome, although it's been a while since I participated in those classes. There’s sometimes an issue with large groups of teenagers taking over the equipment on the floor but not using it. Staff has gotten better about enforcing age rules and being back in school has helped as well.”
